Well... what can I say... my mother suffered for almost six years with a degenerative and respiratory illness, and she died three months ago. I wouldn't recommend it at all, considering the price. There's a shortage of caregivers; the good ones leave, and those who remain aren't professional. Then there's Graciela on the morning shift—arrogant, rude, and treats residents and their families badly. The afternoon shift is better. The director is never at her post; she never solves problems, she just passes them on to her colleagues. My mother fell several times, and no one could tell us how or who had fallen on her. No one could tell us anything. She also needed a device to help her sleep and breathe, and it took us years to get it fitted properly. I do want to highlight the medical and nursing staff. Thanks to Pedro and Belén, who fought hard to make sure my mother suffered as little as possible. I had a personal problem, and they helped me immensely, as did Ana and Carlota at reception—very friendly and kind people. Then there's the cleanliness, the smells, and the heating and air conditioning problems in some of the rooms. I could tell you so many things that I would never finish.

The perfect place for your loved ones to be completely neglected. After three weeks in this care home, my grandmother was admitted to the emergency room in critical condition with sepsis, and the warning was that one more day in those conditions and she would have died. Residents are left unattended in the common areas without any care whatsoever, diapers aren't changed frequently enough, and vomiting is simply accepted as a normal part of life. If you want your loved ones to be cared for and looked after, flee this place, and those of you who have family members there, get them out as soon as you can before it's too late.

It's a residence where people's belongings disappear and you never see them again; someone else keeps them. They tell you not to worry, but that's all you're left with. Besides, they forget the person in their room in the morning and don't take them down for breakfast, and you find them sitting alone on the sofa. So we're considering changing residences.

I don't usually write reviews, which is why it's taken me so long, but I have to. I wanted to care for my mother until the very end, but when she broke her hip, I couldn't properly care for her at home, so I brought her to Vitalia Expo. The first few days were difficult for both of us, but we gradually adapted to the situation and both understood that it was for the best. I came to visit her every day and spend some time with her until she passed away, and I can see that during the three months she was in this residence, she was always well cared for and treated with love. I want to thank all the staff at the residence, each one for their specific duties, for how well they treated my mother during her stay. Thank you for everything; choosing Vitalia Expo was the right decision.
