Opiniones

I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less. At first, it was all smiles, then it was all hiding. When they go up to the second floor, they're left there without any stimulation or care. There's a lack of staff, a lack of attention, and poor communication with families. They take them to the hospital when they can't take it anymore, they deceive us, and they mock us to our faces. My relative left covered in untreated pressure ulcers, and when we returned, because we couldn't find anywhere else, they tried to make us believe they had developed in four days in the hospital. They never provided the pressure-relieving mattress and charged us for it after my relative had passed away. I don't recommend it; it's awful.

I'm giving it one star because I can't give less. In the last year or so, four of my relatives have been there. I have witnessed, and continue to witness, the terrible operation and poor organization of this residence every single week. The first thing I have to emphasize is that they CONSTANTLY STEALING RESIDENTS' BELONGINGS. The staff always have the same excuse: "It's in the laundry," and yes, it's probably in someone's laundry at home... The only things they haven't stolen are bras, panties, underwear, and socks... Any type of clothing that isn't one of those disappears. It's unbelievable and incredibly frustrating. I've reported this to the management, as have many other residents' relatives, and they completely ignore it. They're the least concerned about stopping this theft, and if they aren't, it's evident in their comments and their total lack of involvement. It's no surprise, then, that the current director doesn't even bother to call when you request it. The most recent photos of the facilities are from four years ago and were taken remotely, which is a good thing, because now both the cleanliness and the exterior maintenance leave much to be desired. The lack of staff is palpable. The staff-to-patient ratio seems to be illegal. They don't keep good track of injuries or hygiene (such as diaper changes or showers); in my case, we've had to call attention to both issues several times. I doubt the person in charge of the treatment cart is qualified. I don't know if there's a nursing service right now, and the medical service is in dire need of improvement. We never receive any evaluations from our families. It's obvious that there are deficiencies in the care provided. Leisure activities for the residents are minimal, especially on the first floor. Although this isn't the case, on that floor it seems they've decided everyone is in a vegetative state. They're seated at a table and chairs in a circle, practically abandoned. They're certainly adept at making excuses, but they're religiously punctual when it comes to collecting the monthly fee. I won't go on, because sadly, I could write a whole manuscript. The only people I have to thank for their kindness, interest, and care are the occupational therapist and Laura at reception (I have no doubt there are other worthwhile staff members, but I haven't had enough time to recognize them). This star is for you and your work.

We have a friend living in that nursing home. We communicated with him via his cell phone. He hasn't answered his phone for several days. We keep calling the nursing home all day, and there's no way they'll answer. When we went to see him, the nursing home itself left a lot to be desired... in terms of cleanliness, treatment, and the dereliction of duty by all the staff. It's a shame.

We've had a relative staying here for over a year, and the services are getting worse and worse. The food is terrible, there's been no entertainment for a month, the exterior is neglected, and the interior is poorly maintained. They're short-staffed.

Except for the distance from our town, everything was satisfactory.
