Everything about this "residence" is deplorable: lack of cleanliness, lack of staff, lack of basic supplies and products, lack of professionalism, lack of empathy, and a complete lack of desire to work and properly care for the patients there, who, after a lifetime of experience, do not deserve the treatment they receive in their final years. After discovering numerous irregularities, my first attempt was to inform the caretaker's managers, and I wasn't surprised when they refused to see me, claiming they were "busy." Perhaps at that moment, they were picking off, one by one, the thousands of ants that infest the entire "residence," including the beds of our elderly residents and the coffee makers used by visitors. Perhaps they were busy raising the bed rails, which they always "carelessly" leave lowered, causing accidents where elderly people fall out of bed and fracture a hip, with all the risks that entails at that age. Or perhaps they were calculating the month's income and profits... They have no professionalism or interest in caring for the elderly residents, no professionalism or interest in speaking with the families, who are not informed about health problems, accidents, or absolutely anything other than the fee they must religiously pay to be in this House of Horrors—I mean, House of Horrors. "Nursing Home." When I went to leave my review (the first negative review I've ever put on Google), what I found was that the reviews were being manipulated. After receiving a bad one, coincidentally, several good ones appeared in quick succession, and judging by the surnames, they were even from relatives. Just reading them once, it's clear they're trying to glorify a staff that isn't doing its job properly. If they were doing their jobs properly, they wouldn't need a statue erected in their honor, because they would simply be fulfilling their obligation to do the work they're paid for. That said, since I know I'm not going to get any explanations, answers, or solutions from the staff in charge of the "nursing home," due to their lack of humility, empathy, generosity, and professionalism—given that all they care about is getting paid every month (knowing full well that they're doing a job poorly or not at all)—all they care about is getting paid and avoiding responsibility in front of the families, with zero interest in improving any of the many things they should be doing. Change. I'm going to see if it's possible to bring this to the attention of the authorities, so they can decide if the place is fit to remain open and what conditions it should be under. I'm aware that committed, kind, and empathetic people have worked and continue to work at this "residence," caring for the elderly with dedication and affection, and that they don't do more because they aren't allowed to by management or because of the limited time they have due to staff shortages. That said, no matter how many positive reviews you make your family and friends post, I want to inform you of two things: the final decision rests with the authorities (so you need to get everything in order), and two, word of mouth is the best way for users to know if a business is trustworthy or not. Draw your own conclusions about the word-of-mouth reviews of your "residence." I am at your disposal if at any point you stop being so incredibly busy and decide to start doing things right and not put the elderly through what they are going through. Greetings. P.S. Obviously, I'm giving one star because it won't let me give zero. Or even better, I wish it would let me remove all the fake positive stars. Work on that too; it gives you an even worse image than the one you've already achieved through your great accomplishments.

They should be focusing on caring for the elderly instead of forcing acquaintances to write good reviews…it's ridiculous, all these years without a single review and now they're trying to cover up all their mistakes. It's a deplorable place. From a shortage of incompetent staff to filth everywhere you look and negligence all around. They must have to pay to pass quality inspections because I haven't seen this much filth even in a garbage dump… Focus on your job and stop trying to whitewash your image with false testimonials!

I don't know if the professionalism they talk about in the comments is due to leaving the beds and railings up for dependent patients, or if it's because of the ants found between my relative's sheets. It's clear that health inspections are conspicuous by their absence, otherwise this nursing home would be closed. Just look at the photos. Focus on caring for the elderly instead of forcing your relatives to give favorable reviews, or at least pretend... shameful.

Seeing that there are bad reviews that can be hard on those who work every day to provide the best service to our elderly... I say, if I were aware that my father, mother, or grandfather was in poor condition, I would freely take him somewhere else. My experience has been excellent, from the treatment and care to the management of all situations that arose.

I know firsthand that there are nursing homes where things are done well, the treatment is warm and honest, the care is adequate, and the facilities are maintained and in good condition. The Mombuey nursing home is not one of them; quite the contrary, the facilities lack basic hygiene, and several of its staff leave much to be desired in terms of treatment. If you have the opportunity, do not take your family members there, at least until the situation improves.
