Opiniones

My mother lived at Vitalia for four years. The facilities are very good, as is the cleanliness. However, the staff could be improved in certain areas. They treat the residents with kindness and courtesy, but if a problem arises, there's no one who will take responsibility. No one has seen or knows anything. "Lost" items, which may or may not turn up later, are very common (including dentures, underwear labeled with her name, etc.). The price increases at the beginning of the year are completely outrageous. In two years, we've endured an 18% increase. It's been almost two months since my mother passed away, and I'm still waiting for them to pay half of the monthly fee, which we're entitled to according to the contract. The administration seems too busy for that, but when Vitalia religiously charged the bills every month, there were no problems. Why can't they be as efficient? It feels like they're only motivated by money, and we're dealing with people, not profit-making machines.

Until very recently, they had a couple of very unpleasant caregivers; I hope they're out on the street. Rude, unpleasant, and they treat the residents like cattle. They herd them to the bathroom like a flock. You can come and see for yourself any morning. They pay absolutely no attention at night, not one bit. Pure apathy. And it's the same during the day. You could fall and they might not find you until the next day. I'd even call it negligence. This, along with the previous issues, is perhaps due to their understaffing, which they could certainly increase with what we pay. But it's still not the client's fault, and much less the resident's, who already has enough to deal with just being there. Things disappear, mainly clothing, and not just from the room, but even when you leave them with the staff to have your name stamped. Of course, they don't take responsibility, and it happens repeatedly. I will say that parking is easy and it's fairly new.

While visiting the Vitalia Valladolid Nursing Home, I observed its facilities, which include 197 single and double rooms, all spacious and bright, with adapted bathrooms. The center offers 24-hour medical and nursing care, as well as neurological and functional rehabilitation services. It also has its own kitchen and activities such as scheduled excursions. For those considering options, I suggest exploring the variety of intensive therapies available.

An excellent place for your elderly loved ones to enjoy a privileged space and exceptional care. The facilities, lounges, and gardens are divided into small groups, ensuring personalized attention. Qualified and dedicated staff make both residents and visitors feel right at home.

My mother spent the last two years of her life in this nursing home. She wasn't used to living in a nursing home, but little by little she adapted, thanks to the staff: the director, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, assistants, and cleaning staff—they all form a great team. The facilities are very well-equipped and adapted to modern times. A special mention for Isabel and Erika, two assistants she loved very much, because they always treated her with such love and dedication. Another special mention also goes to Mariano, a dear colleague who gave her a wonderful time. A hug.
