This year I came (from France) to spend the holidays with my mother, a resident at Domus VI. I want to express my gratitude for everything I experienced at the residence, because we family members also enjoyed seeing our loved ones enjoy everything they offer: delicious and healthy food, a comfortable and welcoming environment, beautiful decor, and a singer who made everyone smile and dance, myself included. Special mention must be made of the dedication, competence, and affection with which all the staff care for the residents. Thank you for your sincere and generous commitment. For all of this, I publicly express my gratitude, congratulate the management, and wish you all the best for the new year.

A very good experience. They attend to and care for our elderly residents with great tenderness and sensitivity. They are always clean and have leisure activities available. Services include physiotherapy, psychomotor therapy, hairdressing, nursing, doctors, cleaning and personal hygiene, a dining room, etc. A great job by all the staff. Thank you for welcoming Josefa so warmly! 😊

It's shameful that they dare to claim ignorance of the residents' families' complaints. First of all, I'm not going to blame the staff, who do a great deal with everything they have to work with. They are caring and hardworking, but woefully understaffed. They wake the residents up at 8 a.m. to get them up and bathe them, then they spend hours waiting to go to the breakfast room, and then they wait again to help those who can't do it for themselves. So, at 11 a.m., they're still leaving the breakfast room... Can any of the managers imagine suffering through this routine? I don't understand why public authorities don't inspect the conditions of these residences. It's degrading and humiliating that we know this about the people who are still mentally sound and aware of their situation. I can't imagine what happens to those who can't speak or who don't have family to visit them and be their voice to those who are supposedly caring for them. There is a lack of attention, a lack of staff; there should be a minimum number of staff per number of residents, just as there is in public residences.

My father has been there for five months now, and all we can say is THANK YOU. Everyone, from the reception staff, always kind and caring, attentive to our needs. Those who care for and bathe the residents, showering them with affection and playing with them, with exquisite dedication. The hairdresser. The doctors who always make time to keep us updated on our loved one's progress. The social worker, who is incredibly busy and always strives to help both the residents and their families; the coordinators are wonderful, and the director made us feel at home from the very first moment. Yes, like a family, and that is invaluable to those of us who have such dear people there. From the bottom of our hearts, OUR SINCERE GRATITUDE for your commitment, dedication, and affection. Dear family of the DOMJSVI DE RIBADUMIA! We just left after visiting Dad and we're leaving filled with satisfaction at seeing how he's treated. That affection, that dedication, that commitment—you only find it in people who live and breathe this profession. If it were just a job, they couldn't do it this way. Even the smallest details speak volumes about their passion for doing things right. We're a family for whom the DOMUSVI in Ribadumia is quite far away, which is why we requested a transfer. But if that moment ever comes, it will be very difficult, not so much for Dad because he's not aware of it, but for us. There may be other residences like this one, but to improve upon it, they've really set the bar very, very high. We can only say from the bottom of our hearts: THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO MAKE THE DOMUSVI IN RIBADUMIA SUCH AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE!

I have nothing but words of gratitude for all the staff at DomusVi Ribadumia for their great dedication and effort, for the work that was so difficult yet so rewarding. You were like family to my dad for 12 years, giving him so much love despite how difficult he often made things... the parties, the wine Fridays, the activities, the movies, the events that made life different and special for our loved ones... Thank you so much for the care, great respect, and pure attention to detail in Dad's last days. He and I felt incredibly supported by all of you! Thank you, wonderful family. Thank you, DomusVi Ribadumia. Eternally grateful... Ramiro and Ana
