La Residencia Nuestra Señora del Pilar destaca por su ubicación privilegiada en la naturaleza, su ambiente limpio y acogedor, así como por la dedicación y profesionalismo de su equipo, que recibe consistentemente elogios de las familias de los residentes. Sin embargo, existe una crítica importante respecto a la atención ofrecida a pacientes con Alzheimer, donde se reporta que la asistencia se limita principalmente a sedación sin un cuidado integral más completo.

Excellent care during the almost two years my aunt was a resident. My sincere gratitude to Roberto, the director, and all the staff for their dedication and kindness to the family and for the incredibly humane treatment given to Aunt Magdalena. I've been there several times to visit a relative who has been there for several years. The first thing I liked, and still love, is its location, in the heart of the Guadarrama Mountains, surrounded by unspoiled nature, trees, streams, birds... It's a chalet with its gardens, very well located in a quiet area. The service is friendly and attentive; the residents are treated with care. It's clean, has an open terrace and a covered one for sunbathing, which are very nice. The meals are well prepared and reasonably priced.

In response to LUIS MIGUEL ÁLVAREZ: I don't think you're really familiar with the nursing home. As a family member of a resident, my opinion is very positive. It's clear that their goal is to help people above all else. A very good team, both professionally and personally. It's not the only nursing home we know, and we've been very lucky to find this one.

The place is clean, the treatment of the elderly is good in most cases, but when it comes to patients with Alzheimer's, the medical care and attention is limited to sedating them and little else. They move them from room to room frequently. I don't see it as a good place to take your elderly if they have Alzheimer's. The others seemed comfortable.
