La Residencia de 3ª edad Las Matas cuenta con un equipo de cuidadores y profesionales altamente valorados por su dedicación, calidez y empatía, ofreciendo actividades variadas y buenos resultados en recuperación física, lo que ha generado recomendaciones entusiastas de varios familiares. Sin embargo, presenta serias deficiencias en la gestión médica, el seguimiento de dietas prescritas, las instalaciones anticuadas y deterioradas, así como problemas de comunicación con la dirección que no resuelve las quejas, generando una experiencia muy desigual que depende en gran medida

My parents passed away in this care home. I'm not giving it a five-star rating because everything can be improved. The care my parents received was remarkable. With my mother, who lived there for just over two years, the warmth and patience they showed her leads me to recommend this care home. The facilities are decent; it's not like IKEA. The area overlooking the mountains is like a hotel viewpoint from the 80s. There's a pool and a gym, which I wouldn't use myself, but they serve their current purpose very well.

I'm delighted to have my grandmother in this residence; I highly recommend it. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and polite, with excellent care. My grandmother is overjoyed with the diverse activities they offer, which are very beneficial for her cognitive development. The rooms are very nice. Overall, the entire residence is excellent.

I have nothing but words of gratitude for the entire staff at this nursing home. They are very professional, communicative, and empathetic, from the management to the cleaning staff. I've had my mother-in-law at this nursing home for a year. She arrived after hip surgery and has now regained 90 percent mobility, a task only possible thanks to the dedication of the physiotherapy team. I've been able to witness the variety of activities they offer focused on the grandparents, and I'm truly delighted. The nursing home is spacious and has very good lighting and ventilation. I can only say thank you, thank you.

The staff are friendly, but in my opinion, this residence needs a complete renovation. Everything is old; the reading room is poorly lit, the armchairs are yellowed and clearly very old, and the whole place feels dated and outdated. The location is a plus, though, as it's quite far from Madrid city center if you don't have your own car.

Not recommended at all. Morning medical care is very poor or nonexistent, with no empathy shown towards the residents. Family members have no access to communicate with the doctor; they are either unavailable or unresponsive. Meal service: the assistants are excessively rigid and inflexible. Even with medical prescriptions for specific diets, they are not followed due to the decision of one of the assistants. Residents are all mixed together regardless of their illnesses or level of dependency; a high number of residents suffer from dementia. The assistants, physical therapists, and other staff are excellent professionals, but they are not replaced when residents are on leave or absent, leaving them without activities. The facilities and furniture are outdated, very deteriorated, and heavily patched. Cleanliness and hygiene are good. The management of the center, despite much persistence, addresses complaints and suggestions, but they do not correct the problems. This is not a residence that should be listed by the Community of Madrid. Our mother passed away, and we are still waiting for condolences from the center's management.
