We want to express our deepest gratitude to the wonderful team who cared for our mother, Celia, in her final days. Doctors (a special mention to Carina for her invaluable help and compassion), nurses, nursing assistants, cleaning staff... They treated her with love, care, dedication, and did everything possible to ensure her comfort and comfort. The family was also treated with exceptional care. The cleanliness was impeccable. They also offer psychological support. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the professionals and staff at this facility. The residence is fully equipped and offers a wide range of activities. It's a shame our mother couldn't enjoy it.

My wife was admitted to the palliative care unit to spend her final days after a year and a half battling pancreatic cancer. They treated not only her with great compassion, but also our entire family. They were constantly concerned about our emotional well-being and advised us on how to manage the situation with our 9- and 13-year-old children. The care is absolutely personalized, and everyone involved (doctors, nurses, psychologists, counselors, volunteers, etc.) knows your name from the very first moment. They treat you as the person you are with the problem you have, not as someone in "Room X." I hope I never have to go back (because unfortunately, I had to go due to a completely unwanted situation), but if anyone finds themselves in a similar situation, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Five stars aren't enough to describe this place. You end up feeling like you're at home. The decor is so original, and every space is incredibly welcoming. The way the staff provides support is the best I've ever seen (and I'm a social worker by profession). My grandfather lived his last years with unparalleled dignity and care. We couldn't be more grateful. A truly wonderful home, highly recommended.

I want to express my gratitude, and that of my family, for the care my brother received in the Palliative Care Unit at San Camilo Hospital a few days ago. Both the care he received and the kindness shown to our family were commendable; it was especially appreciated during such a difficult time.

In this nursing home, there is NO palliative care; suffering is the only consequence of not administering the appropriate medication. What a difference from the hospital where my husband had been admitted (Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, where he WAS receiving palliative care). The complaint is against the doctor, Juan Teja. He did not administer the necessary or appropriate medication to alleviate the suffering. And not only that, he ignored both the patient and the family when we tried to speak with him. One time, when my husband, Felix Santamaria, had been suffering terribly for many hours, he told us to wait because he was working on some paperwork. When he finally deigned to see us and came to the room to check on him (after we had spent the whole day chasing after him), all he could think to say was that we shouldn't touch him, that it would be better if he were alone in the room. His children and I were there. We ignored him. As if suffering weren't enough, he needed to be alone. And when he finally came, he said it would be a short time. The nurse came and gave him something that finally calmed him down a little, and then he died. He should have ordered that in the morning when he was suffering terribly. They didn't alleviate his suffering at all. I only hope that God has a death like that in store for him and his loved ones—without any relief!
