Opiniones

My grandmother Narcisa lived at the Orpea Punta Galea residence for nine years, and I can only express my deepest gratitude. The care and affection she received during that time were exceptional. All the staff—nurses, caregivers, doctors, and management—always demonstrated great professionalism and compassion. It was clear they genuinely cared about her well-being and made her feel at home. The facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and adapted to the needs of the elderly. Furthermore, communication with the family was always excellent. Thank you for all these years of dedication and for taking such good care of her.

Good afternoon. I've had a family member at Bouco Punta Galea for over 10 years. I'm incredibly grateful to all the staff. Each person in their role performs invaluable work. The way they care for the residents is truly commendable. I never saw a single unkind face; on the contrary, they care for them with immense patience and affection. My rating is 9.9. I'm not giving them a 10 because nothing in this world is perfect. Thank you all for everything.

Bouco Punta Galea is an exceptional residence. My mother is in the special unit due to her cognitive impairment, and the care she receives, like all the other residents, is always loving, respectful, and very humane. The staff stands out for their professionalism and, above all, for their great compassion. As a family, it gives us enormous peace of mind to know that she is in such good hands. Best regards.

“Disappointing Experience with Bouco Punta Galea Residence” My experience with this residence has been very negative due to the lack of attention and proper care for the residents. In our case, we observed serious irregularities in the treatment of a family member, including deficiencies in hygiene and medical supervision. We found contradictions in their own medical records, especially regarding the care provided after a fall. Furthermore, subsequent medical reports showed the presence of old gauze in the patient's mouth and signs of dehydration, demonstrating a lack of supervision and proper protocols. We tried to get answers from management, but the lack of transparency and evasion of responsibility have been frustrating. These kinds of situations are unacceptable when it comes to the well-being of vulnerable people. Especially when the end result was the death of my father due to severe dehydration and the presence of gauze in his mouth, which led to ischemia and subsequent gangrene. If you're looking for a residence for a loved one, I recommend exploring other options where care is a real priority and not just an empty promise.
