Opiniones

I've been very comfortable and received excellent care in terms of the room and other services. I'm very happy with Álvaro, the physiotherapist who treated me. I've recovered from my knee surgery very quickly, in just 20 days. I'm very grateful.

My experience at this center has been awful, although the qualifications, professionalism, and dedication of the staff are extraordinary, which is why it remains open despite the staff shortage. The poor conditions in which the residents live and the scant attention they receive due to the lack of staff are shameful. It doesn't matter if the center is called Orpea, Emeis, Lescer, or Friends of Red Wine; they're all the same dog with a different collar. They continue to provide poor quality and insufficient food, and rats are a common sight in the kitchen. The worst part is that the management has accepted this and considers it normal. It's no wonder they were featured in a French report titled "The Residence of Horrors," which I think sums it all up. The poor residents, unaware of this, have to go to the cafeteria after lunchtime and pay for it, even though the price of their stay includes meals, which are prepared in the same kitchen. At least they can choose "the least bad option." To make matters worse, they now have more places from the Community of Madrid and are about to open another floor, the fourth. Divide and conquer, so those who are there won't see the decline and mismanagement of the rest of the center, and vice versa, since the management administers, plays with, and manipulates people's lives for profit. They are people, not photocopies. My review is as truthful as any other, no matter how much it hurts whoever it hurts, just like all the others about the mistreatment of residents and the deaths that have occurred in the residence due to lack of care and neglect. You only have to read the other reviews. To see them, simply sort the reviews by lowest rating, and it becomes clear that the center is a disgrace. In fact, the highest ratings, excluding those that management forces the administrative staff to post, only glorify the staff, not the center itself. I absolutely do not recommend admitting anyone, young or old, to this rehabilitation center. It's a place where they promise families they'll be looking after their loved ones, but the call bells ring day and night, even though there isn't enough staff to care for them. Residents spend all night or day covered in their own feces and urine, or they fall from the hoists because they're rushed. And the management lies when families ask about bruises or fractures. This happens to both residents paying privately at over €3,000 a month and those with places provided by the Community of Madrid. A disgrace to other care homes and to the Community of Madrid. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

The experience has been disastrous. We have a family member admitted, and what we're going through is beyond belief. First, there's the appalling lack of staff and the constant staff turnover. Some days, his diaper, full of feces and urine, goes the entire day without anyone changing it. Furthermore, we bring him adult-sized shower gels and shampoos, and they disappear in no time; we have to keep restocking them. We don't know what they do with them. Our family member has already been robbed several times, with cash that has never been recovered and no one taking responsibility. We know he's not the only one who's been robbed. Besides cash, tobacco has also been stolen. It's deplorable and shameful that someone would commit these acts, taking advantage of disabled people, and that there are no consequences. And what about the amount of clothing that has disappeared? Overall, the management is appalling, and we don't see anything improving.

Orpea, a center where the kindness and treatment patients receive borders on excellence, makes their stay much more pleasant. We took my mother-in-law there, after hip surgery and going into a wheelchair and leaving with a cane. She speaks wonders about the people who care for them: the physiotherapists, the ward staff, the nurses, the doctors, the reception staff, and the management. The results have been very good and productive. It has truly been a very good and rewarding experience, and the results have been impressive. We now know where to go if we need rehabilitation.

Highly recommended residence. My uncle Carlos lived there for 13 years and he was always very well looked after. The staff is very kind and attentive, especially Ana who took care of him most of the time all those years. Thank you so much!
