Orpea Madrid Buenavista muestra una experiencia muy polarizada: mientras algunos usuarios destacan la profesionalidad, calidez y excelente atención del personal en cuidados paliativos y actividades, otros reportan negligencias graves, falta de supervisión en la planta de Alzheimer y casos de deshidratación que requirieron hospitalización de urgencia. La calidad del servicio parece variar significativamente según el área de la residencia y el tipo de cuidado requerido, siendo especialmente problemática la atención a pacientes con deterioro cognitivo.

They treated my mother (for a short time, as she was in palliative care) with great care and immense professionalism. I thank the doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants, and all the staff at the center for their warm and caring approach. I had never had an experience in a care home before, and my experience here has been exceptional. Thank you so much for everything, on behalf of myself and my mother. Please keep up the good work.

I'm taking my mother out of the Alzheimer's ward today. There are no caregivers. At 8:00 a.m. in the hallway, they lost my mother; they lost her clothes. Some patients are jostling each other, and since there's no supervision, they hurt each other. Downstairs is very nice, but if your parents need care due to cognitive impairment, they're in danger here.

Experiencia muy decepcionante. Para el elevado coste que supone casi dejan morir a mi madre deshidratada. Llegó al hospital con paro renal estando 10 días ingresada a base de suero hasta que fue recuperando poco a poco y encima quieren justificarse diciendo que personas con alzheimer se deshidratan con facilidad, después de estar más de un mes todo el día dormida y mi padre insistiendo en que algo pasaba. Es un negligencia cómo nos dijeron en urgencias y el informe médico lo confirma, por parte de todos en general y la respuesta por parte de la residencia es negar la evidencia. A fecha de hoy todavía valoramos demandar. Afortunadamente la sacamos a tiempo y dentro de la enfermedad que tiene está bastante mejor en otra residencia.

My mother unfortunately passed away this weekend. She spent two months in this nursing home. The care provided by both the assistants and the nurses was magnificent. Especially Consuelo and Pablo, who made every effort to ensure my mother and the rest of the elderly were well cared for. I will take fond memories of these assistants with me. Thank you so much!
