It’s been years since my mother Gregoria came to stay with my father Elias and my father spent time there. All the workers, who were almost always the same, looked after my father as best they could, even when he was visiting. They behaved phenomenally and there was a very acceptable human treatment. The people in charge of the residence, the two brothers, were always open to solving any issue and very friendly. When I took my parents to another residence it was the worst thing I ever did, but I already imagined it. For me it was worse too. So I will always remember the Aranda brothers, the workers and my mother’s colleagues, and a thousand thanks for having treated them well and for the affection. I always forgot that the food was good quality and there was always more. A hug to all of you, I will always carry you in my heart.

It's true that it's a family residence, and it's clean, but I want to remind its owners that they deal with older people, people who have a lifetime of experiences behind them, both good and bad, which is a lifetime, and that no matter how well they think they're doing, they're missing the most important thing: the warmth of a home and a family every day. If they complain persistently, we must understand their age and everything they've left behind. If my grandfather hadn't let his complaints be ignored, perhaps, just perhaps, they would have realized the heart attack he had that night and the one he had again the next day due to their lack of attention. Then perhaps, just perhaps, he'd still be with us. Please keep that in mind for the rest of the residents.
