I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Gerontos Residence and all its staff for their professionalism and the excellent care they have provided my mother for the past 19 months. My congratulations to all the staff, but especially to the caregivers and nursing staff (doctors, nurses, therapists, etc.). They have ensured that my mother, who has severe cognitive impairment, is living a dignified life thanks to their constant care. (At the hospital, we were told that statistically, her life expectancy with her injuries (a broken femur and cognitive impairment) would not reach a year; we are now 19 months in.) I cannot stress enough how excellent the care is. The Residence also has an activities coordinator (which my mother obviously cannot participate in), but I can attest that the atmosphere she creates with her various activities makes the environment more bearable and pleasant for our residents.

The staff is caring and attentive, but especially the activity coordinator, who is dedicated to making our residents' lives happier and is very committed to finding interesting activities. The food could be improved. I'm happy with the medical service; they respond immediately to any problems.

A wonderful retirement home. The care is outstanding. My mother is like a completely different person since she moved in. They have plenty of daily activities and the residents are very well looked after.
