It was a special time, full of care, affection, and smiles… and I want to sincerely thank all the wonderful people who made it possible. 🙏✨ ⸻ 💖 Special thanks to the Emera Residence 💖 I want to thank all the wonderful people at the Emera Residence, located on Juan Bravo Street in Madrid, who took care of me for two months after my bypass surgery. It truly became my second home. 🏡 ✨ Incredible people: kind, efficient, and very compassionate. ✨ 👩⚕️ Inma and Jesse, the doctors, were always available throughout the day. 💪 María, who motivated everyone in physiotherapy. 🚶♀️ Rose and Janet, who accompanied me on my walks after my fall. 💊 Daniel, who managed the medication for more than 70 residents. 😊 Manuel, Virginia, and David, always at reception with a big smile. 🗂️ Sofía, who organized the office efficiently and with care. 🍽️ Meals could be enjoyed in the restaurant or served in your room. 👕 Laundry was collected daily and returned washed almost the next day. 🙏 Mass was held on Sundays in the small church in the basement. 🎨 Occupational activities were also offered on the physiotherapy floor. In short, if I weren't too young to live in a care home, I would have been very happy to stay at Emera for the rest of my life. ❤️ A big hug to everyone who works there, and also to those I may have forgotten to mention. 🤗 Marion de Bruin

I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice of nursing home. My mother was there from September 2022 until she passed away last February. I have several reasons to believe it's an excellent nursing home. Its location, cleanliness (very high and always smelling good), and overall facilities, but the greatest asset, by far, is the staff as a whole. Despite having done so personally whenever I've had the opportunity, I would like to reiterate my gratitude to each and every one of the people who have cared for my mother (and, in a way, me, during the most difficult times), especially those who, in addition to their professionalism, have provided an extra dose of patience and love in her care, especially in her final days. As aspects that could be improved, I would highlight the food and, perhaps, more recreational activities/outings outside the center, but I am very clear that this is the nursing home I will seek for myself, whenever I need it, and one that I will not hesitate to recommend. A big hug to the entire EmeraJB family.

My experience at the residence has been exceptional. I was an intern for a master's degree in gerontology. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed by a professional, friendly, and caring team. The treatment of the residents is warm, respectful, and personalized, always with a smile and a kind word, always seeking the well-being of the resident. What I highlight most is the commitment of the staff; everyone demonstrates an admirable level of dedication. The activities they organize are not only entertaining, but also promote independence and a joy for life. My recommendation is 10/10!

Hello family! Sharing with you again! My mother was there until she passed away, and she lived in a 5-star luxury hotel. The professionals, services, activities, treatment, and much more were absolutely UNBEATABLE for her and for us. Now, my father has been admitted because it was the only nursing home he would accept, and I have no words to express how secure it is to know that my father is being cared for so fantastically by the entire staff, who are so dedicated to every aspect, in my case, to my parents and, in general, to all the residents. THANK YOU ALL ❤️

My father was only there for a year, unfortunately, but during that time I can say the treatment was wonderful. Perhaps what concerns us most as children is that they feel at home, to the extent that's possible, and I certainly felt that was the case. The entire staff knew him, treated him with great affection, and always tried to make his stay there as comfortable as possible. And as a daughter, I have felt supported and accompanied through every difficult time we've had. These are people who are truly committed to helping seniors and their families. If you're reading this because you're looking for a good place for your family member, at least go and meet them. I assure you, I don't know a better place to care for them.
