El Centro San Juan de Dios recibe críticas muy severas de la mayoría de usuarios, quienes denuncian problemas graves como falta de profesionalismo del personal, mala calidad de las comidas, deficiencias en seguridad y supervisión, así como actitudes hostiles de algunos empleados; sin embargo, una minoría reporta experiencias positivas destacando el cuidado y la compasión de ciertos miembros del equipo hacia los residentes.

Hello, after spending 20 minutes searching for Unit 1 of this center, which wasn't indicated anywhere, and after asking at reception and being unable to find it because they didn't know the unit's name was "NIÑO JESUS," I finally entered the unit and told them it was unbelievable that the staff themselves didn't know the unit's name. The supposed "head nurse," a short, 1.50-meter-tall man who could barely speak, yelled at me and treated me very rudely for no reason whatsoever. Honestly, I can't give the center more than one star. This happened at 2:15 PM on Monday, November 24th. I hope action is taken, and I will change my rating. I will also file a complaint the next time I visit the center. On the other hand, the rest of the staff in the unit were fantastic; it was a pleasure dealing with them.

This center is of extremely poor quality, with hardly any professionals and the few staff members they have who lack knowledge and are constantly being replaced. The food they serve is completely frozen, of zero quality, and always consists of donations and leftovers. They don't adhere to schedules or maintain the proper facilities for the specific unit, and there is a total lack of confidentiality.

Today, June 29th, at 11:30 am, I went to visit a relative. While I was waiting, a very aggressive individual, I presume an inmate since there were many of them alone, with no surveillance in the animal area, attacked my grandson, a 2-year-old baby, and threw him to the ground with a slap. Without giving me time to react, he lunged at me and I had to run with the baby in my arms. This man attacked another inmate twice while I screamed for help with all my might, but no one came out. When I ran, two unidentified women, without uniform, dressed in summer clothes, answered me. I assume they work there. They grabbed them, put them in a red car, and continued down. It should be noted that they had no surveillance, there were sticks, stones, and many objects that they could use to cause more harm. These types of extremely dangerous people should not be left unsupervised. I went to the infirmary looking for help, and they only told me that they are in their habitat. This response worries me because there are people who bring their children to visit relatives, and the lack of oversight or an apology is deplorable. I've kept a video of the individual in question, in case anyone at the institution is concerned.
