I am delighted with this residence. I went to visit my grandmother and I told my family. It makes me very happy to know that she is cared for by professional and very nice people. However, I have to mention the lady who works at reception. I think her name, from what I heard, is Eva or Elvira. I can't remember exactly. I'm sorry, but she is a rude and unpleasant person. She gives a very bad image to the residence since she is the first person we, the family, come across. I'm sorry, but I can't lie about that. Otherwise, I congratulate you and I am happy to see such charming, well-kept and large gardens where our family can go out and walk. THANK YOU. I HOPE NOTHING CHANGES. A CORDIAL 🫡 GREETINGS

Amavir Colmenar Viejo. Infinitas gracias.

I'd like to thank the staff on the first floor. They were lovely to my father and the reception staff, except for the linen manager, whom I won't even name because she shouldn't be facing the public. That says it all. After falling out of bed six times and failing to find a solution due to protocol issues, we tried to meet with management. We made three appointments, and each time, they dropped us at the last minute because something always came up. After that third refusal, we gave up. The manager and the social worker reached an agreement, and everything that was white, they now say, is black. They send you emails threatening to take you to court for returning the last receipt. We returned the last receipt because the days my father was hospitalized, they supposedly deducted a percentage for each day he wasn't in the nursing home. Since they didn't deduct it, we returned the receipt and now we've received threats. We've had to pay it even though we know they haven't deducted it, but it would cost us more to pay a lawyer and go to court. They charged us for marking our clothes and they won't return the missing items because, according to them, they're missing. So why would we mark them? Overall, it's a looting situation, the room is unclean and unhygienic, and the cockroaches are running riot. NOT recommended. No need to reply; I've heard enough lies and excuses. We feel scammed and robbed.

With a heavy heart and deep concern, I feel compelled to express my alarm at the continued decline in the quality of care and service at the nursing home in Colmenar Viejo, where my relative has resided for several years. Far from improving, the situation worsens daily, and what is even more serious, the medical care is appalling. We have witnessed an alarming decline in all aspects of care. From the food, which we have previously pointed out as inadequate for the residents' needs, to the hygiene and maintenance of the facilities, everything seems to be deteriorating. The presence of spoons in the rooms, the lack of cleaning and disinfection, and the inaction in the face of our repeated complaints reflect poor management that jeopardizes the health and well-being of our loved ones. The neglect of personal care is becoming increasingly evident. My relative, and surely other residents, are not receiving the basic care they need: they are not showered, their clothes are not changed regularly, and fundamental aspects such as nail trimming and personal hygiene are neglected. It is heartbreaking to see vulnerable people treated with such little respect and dignity. But what is most concerning is the medical service, which is frankly appalling. The lack of adequate medical supervision, the absence of clear answers to health problems, and the perception that residents' clinical needs are not being met are unacceptable. We entrusted the health of our loved ones to this institution, and the reality is that we feel they are unprotected. It is imperative that the residence take immediate and decisive action to reverse this situation. It is unacceptable that residents continue to suffer the consequences of such negligent management. We demand urgent improvement in all aspects, especially in medical care and personal attention. We will not cease our fight to ensure that our loved ones receive the dignified and high-quality care they deserve.

The residence is well-equipped, but poorly structured. If you have a person with limited mobility, don't expect much. The physiotherapy and gym sessions are in the afternoon, meaning that people with osteoarthritis or bone problems aren't treated until the evening, which entails immobility and pain when they begin exercising.
