My husband suffers from Alzheimer's, and it was incredibly difficult for me to admit him to a care home. The day I finally decided to do it, Antonio, the director, greeted me. I'll never forget his words. He told me my husband would have two families: ours and the one at the care home. I have to admit he was absolutely right. I'm so grateful for the care he receives, both professionally—from the doctors, nurses, and caregivers—but especially for the human touch, the love and empathy shown to both him and me by all the staff. Antonio was right. It's a family, and that's a great comfort to me.

Our experience with the nursing home's medical service has been disappointing due to poor medication management. Errors have been made in the administration and adjustment of my relative's medication, and they have not consulted a specialist since entering the facility to treat their illness, which has directly affected their health. I believe there is a lack of rigorous medical supervision and better communication with families regarding changes in treatments. The medication prescribed by a specialist has not been followed. This is a critical issue that must be addressed urgently for the safety of the residents.

There is no worse choice you could make if you are looking for a care home for a loved one. My family feels humiliated and believes they received degrading treatment from the doctor and the management of the facility, both the resident during their stay (who is also ill) and the family members who met with them to request explanations. A terrible experience.

We saved my father's life the other day by getting him out of there (literally), an experience that could have ended in tragedy. The medical team was awful; besides lying to us about the medication they were taking away and giving my father at will, I have proof, reports, and photos to show it. The director is another one who covers for them and believes his own lies. The day we left, he didn't even bother to show his face, knowing what was coming to him. The psychologist, social worker, and several assistants, along with one of the receptionists, were lovely. The rest of the residence is worthless. If you care about your elderly relatives, it's not a good idea to take them there. By the way, there's an unbearable smell on the first floor that sometimes permeates the entire residence; you should disinfect more thoroughly.
