This residence is absolutely recommended. The treatment of residents and their families is wonderful. They not only attend to all needs but also provide care with genuine concern and affection. Thank you to the social worker, physiotherapist, nurses, supervisors, doctor, assistants, psychologist, and all the other professionals.

I recently had a family member admitted to this care home. This person had sensory and motor disabilities. They were practically abandoned. Some of the deficiencies included: they needed to be fed, which they didn't provide; diaper changes were infrequent throughout the day, and I imagine at night as well; very poor personal hygiene—there were weeks when they didn't shower, and the last time it was 10 days without a bath; a lack of hygiene in their room; poor care when putting them to bed—they treated them like a sack; and loss of clothing—sometimes they dressed them in clothes that weren't theirs. If you need to apply for a care home for a family member in Cuenca, I absolutely do not recommend this one. Zero rating, for people with severe disabilities.

My in-laws have been there for a year, and the care they've given my mother-in-law, who has Alzheimer's, has been spectacular! Every time we went, no matter the time or day, she was always very well looked after and cared for. We are grateful to all the staff.

From the time my mother, Dionisia, entered this residence on March 11, 2024, until her recent passing on December 12, 2024, I was deeply impressed with it. I had heard negative experiences at other residences. But being here and seeing firsthand the way all the staff treated the elderly residents, everything I had been told, has been surpassed by these wonderful, kind people. There is only affection, humane treatment, always a smile for the elderly, never a frown. If someone becomes too demanding, sometimes I would even say excessively so, the staff responds with affection, kind words, and immense patience. Both my brother and I witnessed how my mother was treated every day, and even we, as her children, who always wanted the best for her and tried not to upset her, could not have treated her any better than the people dedicated to her. The director, the social worker, the physiotherapist, the nurses, the assistants, the cleaners—everyone, in short. I can only express my gratitude for their excellent care, not only for my mother but for each and every resident. The meals were superb; so much so that, as my brother and I said to each other looking at the menus, "we'd gladly come here to eat every day, because of how well prepared, the variety, and I'm sure they must be so delicious." No complaints whatsoever, it couldn't have been better. Anyway, I'm getting older, and I don't know if I'll ever need to be in a care home to be looked after and looked after because I'm no longer able to take care of myself. If that happens, I'll certainly ask my daughters not to look for one; they'll take me directly to AMAVIR El Pinar de Cuenca. Thank you to all the workers at the Residence, if I had to rate you individually I would surely give you all top marks, there's no one better than you.
