Opiniones

NEGLIGENT MANAGEMENT AND LACK OF HUMANITY My mother entered this care home in May 2024, and after recent events, I feel compelled to publicly denounce the lack of ethics and the lack of protection to which I have been subjected. As my mother's de facto legal guardian, my role has been systematically ignored. I have been denied essential medical information, and, even more seriously, they refused to provide me with the medical reports that my mother's neurologist requested for her follow-up care, severely hindering her access to healthcare. I attribute this obstruction not only to the direct management of the center but also to the legal counsel of the Emeis group, whom I hold responsible for endorsing this behavior and for failing to respect my legal status as guardian. The most terrible and painful event occurred on December 2nd. A relative took my mother to another province to live there permanently. Despite the fact that I have been her constant caregiver and that all the staff know me as her primary caregiver, the current Director of the Residence did not even bother to inform me. She deprived me of the right to say goodbye to my mother, a decision of unnecessary cruelty for which I hold her entirely responsible. I want to acknowledge the social worker at the center, whose work has been impeccable, compassionate, and professional. He has been the only person who has helped me in every way possible, demonstrating a dedication that is sorely lacking in the management and legal departments of the group. For all these reasons—the lack of transparency, the psychological abuse of family caregivers, and the dehumanizing management—I DO NOT RECOMMEND this residence to anyone.

Two months ago, we moved my grandfather to this residence, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From day one, the staff has been incredibly kind and caring. They explained everything clearly and helped us every step of the way, making the adjustment much easier for the whole family. What we value most is the fantastic team of professionals who work at this residence, from the healthcare staff to those who manage the activities and daily routines. The facilities are very well-maintained and clean, with gardens, terraces, a restaurant, and a gym where, along with the support of the staff, they help improve my grandfather's mobility. In short, I give this residence a 10 out of 10 and wholeheartedly recommend it thanks to the trust and peace of mind they provide us every single day.

My grandfather has been living in this nursing home for 10 years, and as the name changes, it's only gotten worse. Both some of the staff and the management are shameless. They want you to believe they have users, but they're just clients. My grandfather left the nursing home in an ambulance, and we didn't receive a single call from reception to ask how he was. To top it all off, we discovered that during those days, the scoundrels who work there stole a measly 10 euros from my grandfather's wallet. We're leaving them as evidence because this isn't the first time it's happened; they're shameless. We'll have to take the appropriate measures and bring this disgraceful behavior before the law.

The staff is very professional, and residents are generally treated very well. The views from the rooms are spectacular.
