Google reviews of care homes are usually harsh, as it's understandable that negative incidents or isolated situations are highlighted in such a sensitive environment. Precisely for this reason, I believe it's important to also offer broader perspectives based on residents' interactions with dozens of people and various services on a daily basis over many years. My experience with this care home, evaluated based on overall support rather than isolated incidents, has been very positive. I found professionalism, seriousness, warmth, and consistently compassionate care at all times. In difficult personal circumstances, the peace of mind of knowing your loved one is well cared for makes a huge difference. My sincere gratitude goes to a highly qualified and professional team for their work and the caring and compassionate treatment they gave my mother and the entire family.

I went to inform you about an incident involving my mother, and I was treated terribly, even receiving threats and insults from the center's management. Furthermore, the incident was caused by a mistake made by the center, which negatively impacted my mother's well-being, so I went to inquire about it. When I asked for an explanation and tried to find a solution, they threatened to exclude my mother from the center's recreational activities.

My mother has been a permanent resident for almost a year now. I visit her at least five days a week. She is very happy and feels well cared for and welcomed. Any small details that my mother or I consider need improvement are discussed with the management. I always take my mother's opinion and decision into account, and she has decided and believes she wants to stay in her new home. There will be all kinds of opinions, but we must remember that a care home is a complement to the well-being of our elders. We, as family, should be the foundation of that well-being, and I would not allow my mother to be in a place where she is unhappy and not well cared for. I'm not at all surprised by the negative comments about the Puerto Luz nursing home. This nursing home lacks qualified and empathetic management. The company's policy and approach to treating residents and employees completely lacks empathy, kindness, humanity, and caring in a sector as delicate as caring for physically and intellectually vulnerable people, such as our elderly. They are treated as mere numbers for all intents and purposes, with very high monthly fees for their stay, which are inconsistent with the TREATMENT and SERVICES received. It's an inconceivable thought, since the bad reputation will lead to a shortage of residents, which will ultimately harm the company.

My father is admitted to this center. We have nothing but good things to say. They've welcomed us wonderfully from the beginning, coming from a different city. We've had some very difficult times during the adaptation phase, where we've felt supported and embraced throughout the process by the entire team. Every day I go, I notice the love they have for my father, the attention they give him, and the support my mother receives during this difficult assimilation process.
