Opiniones

My mother has been with us for seven months, and we are delighted with the care and attention she received. We have moved her to another center in Burgos, which is more convenient for us because of its proximity. But if we have any problems, we will return to Tomillares. Thank you to the entire team who cared for her. They were very kind and patient.

By far the best in Burgos. Excellent food and care. A very pleasant atmosphere for our elderly residents. Excellent management team. Attentive staff who are responsive to the residents' needs. After several care homes, I can say that this is by far the best place my family member is.

An EXCELLENT nursing home. Optimum personalized care and treatment. The staff are very dedicated to their work. Very good food. The facilities are adapted to seniors, clean, and feel like a hotel. Large gardens where they can stroll. Without a doubt, the best option in Burgos.

The facilities are good and spacious, but the protocols don't help the elderly if they have limited mobility. They spend all their time restrained in chairs (except when they're doing rehabilitation). They don't have the option of sitting in geriatric chairs or taking naps, as it requires a lot of organizational work. They resent family members showing interest, asking questions, or requesting something to improve their quality of life. They told me they were fed up with me having a different story every day (which isn't true either). One day I asked if it was possible for a doctor to visit my family member because she was upset, and since they hadn't seen a doctor for over two months, due to sick leave and vacation, they told me, in a very rude way, that if I wanted, I could take her to the hospital or health center, or that I could take her home, and that they wouldn't call the primary care physician to see her alone. I was appalled. I got her out of there a few days later.

Located outside the city but with a free bus service (Tuesdays and Thursdays, excluding holidays, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM). Friendly service, though not cheap. Attractive gardens, religious services, and socio-cultural activities.
