La Residencia Venero recibe evaluaciones muy polarizadas que reflejan experiencias contrastadas: mientras que la mayoría de familias elogia ampliamente la profesionalidad, dedicación y trato humano del personal (cuidadores, fisioterapeutas y coordinadores de actividades), así como las políticas flexibles de visitas, hay críticas severas sobre la gestión de infraestructuras (falta de bahía de ambulancias permanente) y, más grave aún, denuncias relacionadas con la alta mortalidad durante la pandemia que han derivado en investigaciones judiciales. Hello, I am Jordi, son of the late Mercé Llorca...I would like to say how grateful and satisfied I am with the Foundation after four years of having my Mother in the Residence. I want to highlight the professionalism and tenderness of all the caregivers, especially those on the first floor. This residence needs a permanent ambulance bay. It should not use a private parking lot to park. In my case I have suffered from this situation more than 100 times.

Our mother has been at the Center for almost two years, and we have very little to say against it. The caregivers, physiotherapists, psychologist, activity coordinators—everyone!—are highly professional, kind, and incredibly patient. Few residences offer unrestricted visiting hours, which speaks volumes. We are so grateful for the extra effort they are making during the current pandemic.

I had my mother in the Veneró de Pere Relats nursing home, and I was able to get her out of that hell, one of the worst-affected nursing homes in Barcelona with more than 30 deaths. It's in the hands of the Prosecutor's Office with a pile of complaints, one of them mine. I don't recommend it.
