Opiniones

I was lucky enough to find this nursing home with an exceptional staff. They treated my brother Plácido and cared for him so much, even though he was a somewhat special case. They always took excellent care of him. I will always carry the assistant Elena in my heart for her kindness. And what can I say about Roxana? Only good things. And Susana for how she explained things to me, and the night shift worker for letting him have his TV. And what can I say about the cook? Besides being such a good person, she's also a fantastic cook. I send a hug to another assistant named Lidia, and to all the other assistants who work there who have always cared for my brother Plácido, and to the doctors who always treated him so well and were always willing to change his treatment until they found the right one. And to the director, Vero, who, although I haven't known her for very long, has always understood and listened to me. I don't want to leave anyone out because I want to give my sincerest thanks to everyone for who they are. A big hug from... Plácido and his sister María del Mar, you are both great professionals and I will never forget you.

My mother spent a short time at this nursing home, but it was enough for her to feel cared for and looked after. From the first day, we've had peace of mind, and whenever she's had a health problem, they've been very active and responsive. I have nothing but words of gratitude for all the staff at the center who lovingly cared for my mother until her last day.

I'm giving one star because it's the minimum Google allows. This nursing home leaves much to be desired: rather than offering decent, quality service, some assistants display inappropriate treatment toward residents. Even the guests themselves complain about this, but unfortunately, no measures are taken to address it. In my case, the assistant, Elena, looked at me with disdain and responded rudely when I complained that my mother hadn't been showered or dressed in clean clothes. I had visited her two days earlier, and she was still exactly the same: wearing the same clothes and with her fingernails covered in garbage.

An elderly man who is my grandfather was admitted to this residence. The center was good in terms of facilities but they could improve the treatment of residents for the price. During the time that the grandfather was here, he missed his home and begged to return to his apartment without being listened to at any time. Friendly and not so friendly staff (it depends on the person and without specifying anyone), regular food even though it has its own kitchen, good medical and dietary supervision and a small center. As a resident I say that I would not like to be here due to the experience that the grandfather has brought us. According to my experience in the field of geriatrics, the ACP model (person-centered model) is not applied here in which the autonomy of the hospitalized person and respect for their preferences is guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE STORIES FROM 2018. 2020 The pandemic broke out and everything continued as it was until the closure of the residences was decreed, causing a double isolation of the grandfather and the rest of the center's colleagues. The restrictions they imposed had a serious impact on his state of mind and I did not know how they would be treated at that time, since we only maintained telephone contact due to the circumstances. Around March of that same year, the grandfather died with suspected COVID-19 due to the center's lack of resources. He died completely alone, with saline placed next to him and without the warmth of his closest relatives. I also want to emphasize that this should never happen again. The grandfather is a very wise person who contributed a lot to this family. Founder and creator of this wonderful family. CURRENT EVENTS The residence passed into other hands to another company that, I do not know the current state of the residence. I want to express that all of the above are tributes to the elderly who are hospitalized in the residences, especially those who died from COVID-19 or in situations of isolation in these centers and make it very clear that at no time do I intend to attack, defame or say things outside of reality, much less harm or harm anyone, since in today's society, residences are needed as another resource to care for the elderly.

In principle, I have no complaints about the staff who care for the residents. However, this residence has two main problems: 1) The facilities are poorly maintained, especially the rooms, with badly damaged furniture and dark, dimly lit spaces, and 2) The administration department treats clients with utter contempt. I could recount numerous irregularities for which I am still awaiting a response after more than a year of waiting. It is common practice for them to apply incorrect and exorbitant CPI increases every January, such as in January 2021, when they applied 6.1% instead of the correct 1.6%, and in January 2023, when they applied 5.8% instead of the correct 3.8%. Another clear case of irregularity is appropriating the VAT reduction when a linked financial benefit is assigned, thus carrying out a disguised price increase, with the absurd pretext that the contract shows the monthly amount payable with VAT included. Therefore, I strongly advise against this residence and the others belonging to the Gran Vida Group, if you do not want to be subject to arbitrary administrative decisions that affect the residents' finances, with the added problem that they never attend to or respond to users' requests to justify their unfair and arbitrary decisions.
