Opiniones

Although my mother didn't end up at this nursing home because she passed away early, we would like to sincerely express our gratitude for the treatment we received throughout the entire process. From the first visit, they showed us great empathy, patience, and transparency, calmly answering all our questions and clearly showing us the facilities. The cleanliness and care of the center are top-notch, and the atmosphere is calm and caring. We left feeling that my mother would have been in very good hands.

My grandmother has been in this nursing home for a few months, and the family's opinion of her is very negative. They had her sitting in a wheelchair all day long… she lost mobility from not exercising her legs. Her body took the shape of the wheelchair from being in that position for so long. We discussed this with the director, and she showed us a video justifying that she moved with the physiotherapist… (a few steps and she was back in the chair) that was the routine. We recently moved her to another residence, and she has regained her mobility. She doesn't use a wheelchair, she only uses a walker. The personal hygiene also leaves a lot to be desired; we complained about it several times. I do not recommend this nursing home at all.

I can't say anything positive about this nursing home. If I could, I wouldn't even give it one star. My mother was here for several years. While the director, Maribel, was there, I can't say anything negative, but in the last few years, I can't say anything positive. My mother died in September of last year, and I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why the watch she was wearing and the gold rings she was missing were stolen from her before she died. Also, the money she had in her wallet and her cell phone, which has also disappeared. This nursing home is not recommended.

Hello, I am the daughter of a resident. I don't want to go on too long, but when it comes to discussing issues related to the people we love and care about so much, it's difficult because every little bit counts. Summing up my experience, I'd say it was excellent and I'm very, very grateful. Unfortunately, my mother has suffered from a lifelong mental illness, and we've had to visit her at different centers and see many things. Here, from the very beginning, I felt supported and accompanied throughout the process. They opened the doors of the residence for me. I saw everything. In my case, the director, Laura Seijo, just needed to hug me. Let me tell you, my situation is delicate. I don't accept my mother's situation. She's 72 years old, so young... Well, luckily, this center is full of young people and there's a zest for life. There's everything, of course. And although I suffer deeply, I find it very, very pleasant to visit her and be there. There's not a bad smell, not a bad face. It's very difficult to hospitalize a loved one, and that's because there are no other options, and it's the best thing to do. for everyone When you see the facilities—rooms with armchairs, different televisions, all with natural light, an outdoor area, rooms with their own sinks, a balcony/terrace, an adapted diet, medical care, a physiotherapy service, their own laundry, a hair salon, a podiatrist, and I'm sure I forgot something—you say, I WANT my mother to be here, since in these cases you make a great financial effort, but there comes a time when that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is them and seeing them well. When I go to see her, I go in and out of her room, without any problem. They don't hide anything, among other reasons because I don't think they need it. Everything is very clean and well organized. There is always staff attending to the patients and looking after them, constantly wandering around, worrying. The medication is exhaustive. My mother is always clean, well-groomed, and dressed differently. That's thanks to help; she can't do it on her own. For me, that's very important. She's sick, but you need to see her well, and that requires care, and she's receiving it here. And I don't. I could be more grateful. I ask her, and she tells me she's fine. She's also receiving help to adapt. In the end, she's the one there, and I see her feeling fine, despite how difficult the situation is. Every day they have different activities, crafts, board games. Of course, each patient participates in what they want, and not every day is the same. Sometimes I find her slumped, as I say, in the armchairs. But she's there because she wants to. She has many options, and when she feels better, she can participate in everything. They even have a garden. All the different staff members address her by name, and I see love and patience in their eyes. I'm sad, but CALM and at PEACE. It's the place where I would like to be cared for... that says it all. Thanks to the entire TEAM. For making something so difficult easier. We can't lose the human touch and respect. And here, it feels like that. My mom is a person within her capabilities. I couldn't ask for more. And I see her as the best she can be.

Trust is a matter when we leave our loved ones in a residence for their care and neither the director nor the nurse of the Cubelles center on Av Europa are worthy of this trust. A pure and simple business, not at all transparent. They received my parents on the first day in a 2x2 reception passing and transferring people and without addressing them, not at all welcoming, not at all hospitable, not at all friendly. On a first previous visit it seemed like a good place, but don't be dazzled by a garden that they can enjoy for nothing. A residence not prepared to receive family visits, continuous drafts. The father was only there for 67 days, he died of pneumonia. The nurse never contacted the family. I took the mother out a few days later. No trust in the management, no trust in the management, no trust in the care and health. Just thanking some workers for their effort but if they are not supported by a transparent and powerful management their effort is useless.
