La Residència Lesseps recibe opiniones extremadamente polarizadas: mientras una reseña elogia su tamaño reducido, precios accesibles y buena alimentación, las demás denuncian negligencia médica grave, falta de higiene, personal insuficiente, instalaciones obsoletas y prácticas comerciales cuestionables que han causado sufrimiento a los residentes y sus familias. Los testimonios de abandono, mala gestión y casos de deterioro acelerado de la salud sugieren problemas sistémicos profundos en la calidad de cuidado y atención a mayores con necesidades especiales.

Not even to my worst enemies!!! Besides being loan sharks, even with a contract and a recommendation from social workers, and despite an agreed-upon price, they've tried to change my payment three times! My father, who had dementia, was admitted for this reason. In less than a year, he lost 25 kg, complaining of pain in his sacrum. They didn't provide him with the pressure-relieving cushion I had arranged for him (even though I was present). Due to malpractice by both doctors and nurses, and poor treatment because it was the second Easter break and the staff was on vacation, and without informing the family until then, he was admitted with a grade 1 pressure ulcer in his sacrum. Upon arrival at the hospital, they diagnosed it as a grade 3 (grade 4 being almost fatal) just during the transfer! (When the diagnosis was supposedly grade 1. What happened???) Not only did he suffer pain, but everything worsened until a month later, when he developed sepsis, which caused his death a week later. Could it have been avoided? Of course! At least in this case. Negligence? Or apathy? I can't do anything anymore. I have nothing more to do than file a complaint against this nursing home and its doctors, because they are supposed to be looking after the residents. And my father... well, they took him away prematurely... due to malpractice. Generally speaking, although I'm not accusing all the staff, of course! I also want to add the neglectful state of all the elderly residents (including my father) when I visited. They were sitting in their chairs, without any apparent changes in position, their heads resting on a simple table. They couldn't even enjoy a television because there was only one, and it was in only one position. And they were left drooling on the table... very sad, really. My father's last months were truly lamentable. And that's not to mention that they haven't done any renovations since at least 1975!

I feel secondhand shame and deep sorrow. My mother, who has Alzheimer's, was turned away because they couldn't care for her and said she was dangerous. They're not prepared for elderly people with needs. They only accept seniors who won't disturb their peace and quiet, and that's what they told me. I wish them the best of luck, because in less than a month we were scrambling to find another place. They gave us a month's notice, even though they said they should have given us 15 days.

It doesn't deserve even one star. The management treated us appallingly; they can't even answer the phone. It's shameless. They took advantage of a difficult situation caused by a resident's hospitalization to avoid returning money that isn't theirs. They couldn't be more despicable. They're understaffed, and the residents are poorly cared for. What an awful experience.

It's a small residence with few residents, but I like it because you can see they're well cared for. It has two floors and an elevator. There's a small garden. The food is catered, but it's very good. The price depends on the resident's level of dependency, but I can tell you it's one of the cheapest. Besides, I'm of the opinion that the smaller the residence, the better the care the residents receive.
