Opiniones

Eternally grateful to the Sant Ignasi de Loyola Residence for the attention received by my father Jesus, there are no words of truth, they are pure heart and devotion to the residents, especially a lot of humanity which is what our grandparents need. A hug and kisses to everyone, from the director, sisters, workers (today I will miss you very much) and especially to a little angel who is all heart ( Zaira ), you will always be in my thoughts, you were my father's guardian angel, without you he was very clueless (poor). A hug to the whole team.

I'm not happy, but given what's going on out there, we have to put up with it. The new director isn't here, nor is she expected, and we don't see any improvement. The residence is run by the staff. The furniture is so poorly arranged that you can't even carry the chairs. We've complained, but they don't change. There are all kinds of staff, good and not so good, like everywhere, so they're looked after depending on who's assigned.

My father-in-law was in the residence for about a year and a half. After several changes in the management of the same, and complaints about the carelessness in which we found him some days, one day they told us that he had a fever and took him to the Platon clinic, where he was admitted according to the clinic's report in a terrible state, both physically and mentally. Total carelessness. He was a person who was not good for himself, therefore, someone had to help him dress, eat, anything. How is it possible that no one saw an infection on a leg that ate him?? What kind of people do we have taking care of our parents, grandparents or people who depend on them?? In short, SHAMEFUL. And the most incredible thing is, at this point, 18 days later, we have not received a single condolence call. Bravo, bravo, bravo Terrible management and terrible residence.

Inhumanity, neglect, irresponsibility, lack of empathy... among many other things. The company that runs this residence is part of the religious congregation to which the nuns belong, but they don't care for the residents. Care is provided by professionals hired by management, and some of them do a terrible job. All of you who praise this center are very wrong. It's a shame that in the final stage of these people's lives, the care they deserve isn't valued and that the vulnerability of the elderly is used as a business opportunity. The system doesn't work, and it works even less for the elderly.

I don't need to explain to you the difficulties that come with having a relative with Alzheimer's at home. Keeping them at home or relocating them is therefore a decision that must be made above all thinking about the other person, the person directly affected. And finding a residence with sufficient quality is also difficult. And quality, in this case, means adequate guidance, treatment, attention and care at all times, information about everything that happens to the person admitted and total respect for family decisions. All organizations or companies have their difficulties (management, personnel, organization, changes, additions and deletions, solutions to unforeseen events, etc.). But what I believe must be valued is, above all, the care they have for the residents. And in the specific case of this residence, it is the collective and individual attention, appropriate and possible, on a day-to-day basis. There is no need to look for miracles, since the real miracle is the emotional, emotional, and companionship care, every moment, every day, week, month, and year. It is what makes the treatment never routine. The other logistical aspects (management, reception, medical and nursing services, activities, care in the rooms and rooms, social assistance, cooking and food, maintenance, cleaning, care for relatives, information, etc.) become the just, good, and appropriate complement to all of the above. Therefore, and for me (the resident cannot express it but notices it) I must thank each and every person who makes everything expressed possible at the Residence.
