My experience has been disastrous. Look for a better option for your family. I absolutely do not recommend it. I am very sorry that my review is not to the owners' liking and that I am being threatened to remove my comment. But the purpose of reviews is to express satisfaction with the service provided. This review is based on my personal experience, and that is not slander. It is expressing my dissatisfaction with the service received at your center. Currently, my mother is in a center where she receives excellent care, as I believe she deserves. Sincerely.

Terrible, awful, horrendous. I got my mother out of there as fast as I could. She had multiple urinary tract infections. The doctor (outdated and older than some of the residents) never wanted to do urine cultures and knows that the staff uses the same pair of gloves for all the changes. They do the changes in bathrooms that always smell terrible and where there's a lack of privacy because sometimes they leave the doors open with the resident inside. They don't manage the medication properly either; my mother was prescribed a fentanyl patch change every 72 hours. In this residence, the patches are only changed on Mondays and Thursdays, knowing that they are violating medical orders. The food is the same for everyone, regardless of whether you're diabetic, hypertensive, obese, etc., and the juices are made with powder. There's no nutritional information, and there are deficiencies in fiber and dairy. There's no physical or emotional stimulation program for the residents. Something as basic as proper hydration isn't provided. The same container I brought upon admission was left unused months later. I witnessed my mother being left in her wheelchair in the same spot from breakfast to dinner. During a visit to my mother, I had to help an elderly woman up from the floor because she had fallen. The problem is that during the caretaker's shift, they leave the residents unsupervised in the common room (and this is documented). The clothing is completely mismanaged. It's always piled up in the closet, stained, or even lost, and if something gets torn, they don't notify you. If you want an organized closet, the family has to take care of it. The bed linens, when they're not dirty, are either see-through or insufficient. I saw very little empathy in the care provided. In fact, I witnessed a physical and verbal assault on a resident by a caretaker in front of two caregivers. I reported it to management, and not only did they fail to act, but they turned a blind eye. Communication with the management (I.M.) is terrible; they are neither transparent nor accessible. I gave 15 days' notice of my intention to leave the residence, and they still haven't returned my deposit. Social services recommended I file a complaint in court, unfortunately, initiating the process isn't free. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this residence at all; quite the opposite. After posting this review, they tried to intimidate me, which is what they do to family members and residents. As proof of one of my points, I've attached an email from the center demonstrating their failure to comply with medication prescription guidelines. I also have photographic evidence and/or witnesses for the other issues. I urge you to reflect on this and take the necessary steps to improve the center you manage.

I decided not to write a review because my sister already did, but after reading the response the center's management published six months ago—denying clear, documented facts and avoiding all responsibility—I can't stay silent. Our mother suffered serious errors in the administration of her medication, including three days without receiving a painkiller prescribed in the emergency room despite her severe pain and cognitive impairment. This isn't "a perception of grief": it's documented and acknowledged afterward by the doctor herself, who decided on her own to disregard the hospital's medical protocol and administer painkillers "at the patient's request" (we're talking about a patient with cognitive impairment). Speechless! The management says everything is done with "strict protocols," but on two occasions, when I went to pick up my mother to take her for a walk, I found her sitting in an armchair, with chocolate stains on her mouth and without her dentures. When I asked if she had eaten breakfast, they told me she had barely eaten. Clearly, because she can't chew due to the absence of her teeth, this demonstrates a lack of basic care that is impossible to justify. We have also witnessed a caregiver treating her without gloves, a lack of nursing staff on weekends, insufficient personnel for essential needs, and a level of hygiene far removed from what management claims. And yes, we reported this many times, both in writing and in person. Denying it now is hiding a reality we experienced firsthand and shirking responsibility. Faced with the center's attempt to downplay everything, I want to make it clear that we have medical certificates, photos, and emails that prove each of these situations. Anyone who needs to verify this can contact us without hesitation. And most importantly: we witnessed this negligence not only in our mother's case but also in the case of other residents. These are vulnerable people who deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

My experience at the residence has been wonderful! Everyone is so concerned about the well-being of the residents. My mother has been there for a while now and she's very happy! She's so grateful to everyone who cares for her and spends time with her! And they love that it's located near the sea!

Our experience there wasn't satisfactory, so we moved out. However, it's true that it's a well-located residence, close to the sea. But that's about all it has going for it. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that the deposit refund is still pending. After several months, it's still outstanding. That's a fact, not a slanderous claim. I'm taking this opportunity to request it politely and respectfully, without intending to offend anyone. Thank you.
