La Residència Geriàtrica El Petit Hostalet presenta una situación contradictoria: mientras que quienes han tenido experiencias positivas elogian genuinamente la dedicación y el trato humano del personal, la mayoría de reseñas denuncian problemas graves como instalaciones deterioradas, higiene deficiente, personal insuficiente y falta de mantenimiento básico que afecta gravemente la calidad de vida de los residentes. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it any. The facilities are incredibly old, the exterior is neglected and filthy, and the pool in summer was as green as could be, overrun with starving cats. It was freezing cold, and they didn't turn on the heating; lighting a fire on the ground was enough for the poor people, who were freezing. The staff there are lovely; they do more than they can with the lack of personnel. They need more staff, more renovations to the facilities, and a little more empathy towards the patients and their families. I absolutely do not recommend it. They advertise one thing, and then it's all a lie.

Terrible experience. Severe staff shortages and poor hygiene. There's no cleaning: the staff do everything and are overwhelmed (sometimes only 2-3 per shift, and just one person at night). The food is scarce. The residents aren't properly bathed, and diapers are stored in the bathroom, creating a constant, awful smell. We had to take my father out of there.

Grandma was admitted for a long time until she left us, we have no words to thank all the staff for their treatment of both grandma and us.

I gave it one star because I can't rate it lower. Terrible service. Nonexistent cleanliness. The grounds are impassable; diapers are all over the gardens. The food is beyond words. The only redeeming feature is the staff. I suppose there must be a better way to make a living without harming people who can't complain.

Good morning, I wanted to express my gratitude for the care, affection, and attention my father received during the almost three years he was at this residence. Compared to other residences, the elderly residents are treated like family, and being surrounded by nature gives them a sense of human dignity. Because it's a small residence, the staff is attentive to each resident, and I never had any problems visiting my father, even at odd hours. My father was mentally sharp despite being 92 years old and never said anything negative to me. Thank you very much.
