From our personal experience, our relative's stay at this center clearly fell short of our reasonable expectations as a family. The initial information and approach we received generated a level of trust that, in our perception, was not borne out by the reality of their stay. The difference between what was promised and what we experienced was significant. In situations arising from the natural progression of diseases such as Alzheimer's or dementia, we understand that specialized, flexible intervention with a strong human component is required. However, from our perspective, the approach taken focused primarily on pharmacological intervention, relegating other possible therapeutic alternatives or behavioral support strategies that we considered essential to a secondary role. Similarly, when the situation required greater adaptation or monitoring, we were offered the possibility of considering other residential resources. This caused us deep concern and the feeling that the service was not adequately tailored to our relative's specific needs. We are fully aware of the complexity involved in caring for people with cognitive impairment and respect that each facility operates according to its own protocols. However, in our case, the care we received did not meet the level of specialization and commitment we expected. As family members, we also find it particularly difficult to understand and question certain care decisions, as well as navigate the available administrative mechanisms to review them, which increases our sense of vulnerability in an already delicate situation. In short, this is our personal experience and our opinion as a family. Based on our experience, we would not recommend the facility for cases similar to ours, as it did not meet the needs we considered most important. We hope this opinion can serve as constructive feedback for the benefit of the residents and their families.

A terrible experience. My father, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's for approximately three years, has become increasingly irritable due to the disease, as he struggles to reason and understand the behavior of some staff members at this care home. Their solution? To throw him out like a criminal and medicate him excessively to keep him "calm." The neurologist who has been treating him for over six years is incredulous at the lack of professionalism and tact shown towards a patient with Alzheimer's. After paying €3,000 a month, I find it shameful and incredibly insensitive to treat a man with a severe illness in this way. I absolutely do not recommend this place. When things are going smoothly and the staff is working well... well, when they actually have to work and earn their salaries. We are not prepared for these situations, and it's best if they find another care home... disgraceful.

My experience with this care home has been very disappointing. Our family member suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia, so they need understanding, patience, and humane treatment appropriate to their situation. Unfortunately, what we received here was the complete opposite. Instead of offering support and solutions to the difficulties inherent in their illness, they increased their medication to keep them "calm." My family member could barely stand, and at the same time, the care home decided to discharge them. I believe that a center dedicated to the care of elderly people, especially those with neurodegenerative diseases, should be prepared to handle these types of cases with professionalism and empathy. We felt completely abandoned as a family. At such a delicate time, we expected guidance, understanding, and a minimum of humanity. Instead, we encountered a lack of sensitivity that is very difficult to accept. I would not recommend this place to any family! Do not trust this place at all. (Response to being called a liar) At no point did I write my review out of "revenge" or to participate in any underhanded tactics. My comment is based on a real experience my family had. When a family shares their experience of the treatment an elderly relative received, they do so out of concern and pain that a difficult situation can generate, not out of falsehood. Publicly discrediting those who express a different experience than the one you want to portray does not help clarify the facts. I hope all care homes always prioritize the well-being and respect of residents and their families. My intention in sharing my experience is to also give voice to those who have not had a positive experience.

A truly exemplary nursing home: kind and caring staff, original activities to entertain the residents, freedom for those who are able, and perfect management of medication and treatments. I wish there were more like them. Thank you.
