It started very well, but over the past months driven by the poor management of the leadership, the service has become dramatically worse. We've found my father multiple times wet with urine when I visited him and no one paying attention. There was one week where he was very sick, and he was left alone in a corner. We had to be the ones to take him to the hospital where he was diagnosed an infection. After coming back with the receipts, the following day we realized they had not started the treatment either. That afternoon he had high temperature and no one paid attention to this either. In summary, not only the global service and care is sub par (despite them claiming in the comments that they comply with the minimal standards). The most worrisome circumstance is that from a healthcare perspective they are either incompetent or negligent, risking the health of your related one. Of course, no effective reaction, from the directors (even the group CEO).

Lovely place. The mature residents seemed contented. Nice peaceful feeling about this place. So glad my dear friend is in here.

My mother has been at Fontsana for five months and she's very happy. They organize lots of activities and encourage family members to participate. They recently changed head chefs and it makes a big difference; my mother says the food is delicious and everyone enjoys it. The staff is very friendly and treats the residents incredibly well, which is so appreciated when you leave a loved one in a care home. I will continue to recommend it! Thank you, Fontsana, from Biel Vaquer

This is unacceptable. One day my father was lying in pain from a urinary tract infection, and the staff did nothing for hours until my mother arrived and called emergency services. That same day, it took them over 24 hours to get the antibiotics, and my brother had to go and buy them. Another day, my father wet his pants, and it took over half an hour to change him. Another day, there was only one person to feed 12 people who need assistance eating, leaving them alone for 20 minutes (people who can't be left alone) to go to their trays. Even after notifying staff, it took over 20 minutes for a second person to arrive, and they administered the medication in a very inhumane manner. Solutions are being sought. They promised to provide written documentation of the actions taken, and we've been waiting for two weeks now.

My mother was admitted very recently. Today she called me on her cell phone. I asked her, "Who called you, Mom?" She said, "I don't know, some man." She was terrified, saying she was alone, that no one was paying attention to her, that she didn't know where she was. The poor thing can't see anything. We mentioned this the first day we visited the residence. They paint a pretty picture, but the reality is quite different. The queues to go to the bathroom are so long they don't even have time to use it, and they end up wetting themselves. Then the afternoon snack was shameful. Just a chamomile tea and two large pastries. What a disgrace, considering what we pay! Where's a snack like a yogurt, a custard, a coffee with milk? At this rate, she'll be skin and bones in a week. But I'm going to take action. We work weekends so she's cared for all week. What happens if you can't go in the afternoon? Do they just sit in a chair until dinner? No, no. I'm sorry, but no. The whole family is very, very disappointed. And I'm not going to... You all come here saying the same thing you say to everyone else...oh, and besides, she's already missing a brand new, unopened marker from her room...it's not about the price, it's the fact...I'm told that maybe some of them thought it was from the center...sorry, it was on the package and it said €1.50, hahaha, come on...that said...they're all friendly, well, almost all of them....but the one who helps my mother is a sweetheart....but unfortunately, it doesn't depend solely on her...but the friendliness and kindness are great...but there are very, very few staff...the fault isn't with the staff, it's with the company, let's make that clear
