Opiniones

It has a full team of professionals in all areas of service. The environment is very welcoming, and cleanliness is evident in every corner. Well designed and functional. The managers have always been accessible and helpful (something very appreciated). They're probably not perfect; that doesn't exist, but close enough. I recognize the complexity of a very human task, and... I'll sign up for my turn when it's my turn. THANK YOU.

This is a care home that, 18 years ago when my uncle moved in, had professionals and staff who provided exceptional care. Now it's a business that only wants to make money by playing with the health of our elderly and hiring unqualified personnel who change every month and don't build relationships with the residents. I hate to say it, but the doctors in charge are also to blame for the situation. If they don't know what's going on, that's bad, but if they do, it's even worse. By the way, you should know that the positive reviews are from the administrator and the director. Don't worry about the reviews; my uncle died two days after returning. We are already taking legal action. Delete the comments as many times as you want. Incidentally, no one from the care home has contacted the family since our relative's death.

My sincerest thanks to DomusVi Palma and its team of professionals, without exception. Thank you for your exceptional care, your warmth, trust, and empathy with my mother. Our previous experience at DomusVi Sa Riera was marked by treatment unbecoming of a residence of this caliber, until, fortunately, in June 2024, my mother was assigned a place at your center. The results speak for themselves: she has now regained mobility, independence, some cognitive ability, and weight. In short, she has gained in happiness and quality of life. For me, you are a benchmark. Thank you, DomusVi Palma. Carmen Bauzá

Hello, a very bad experience. Three weeks after being admitted to Domus Vi Sa Riera, my 93-year-old father was given an overdose of Sintron (an anticoagulant) and was sent to the emergency room for a week. I highly do not recommend this place. It was unethical, and they haven't even apologized. Only excuses about whether the Bonnin Pharmacy made a mistake, etc. We are considering filing a complaint for medical negligence.

Good afternoon. Yesterday they contacted me because I am a caregiver and a health worker in Palma de Mallorca, Brazil. The son of a 96-year-old man told me that at night there is no one there. The nurses don't change his diapers at night, and his father has a varicose ulcer and is in pain. He was also treated rudely by a night receptionist who spoke to me with no manners, telling me to leave as if I were a person who didn't deserve any human respect. The HR staff of a hospital is supposed to smile, greet people, say goodnight to the families of admitted patients, and speak while looking people in the eye. She was treated like dirt, and the reception of this house doesn't welcome its visitors. She was treated like crap. Imagine that with us who have health there is no one, nor good education, imagine how your very elderly relative or your father or your mother suffers from dementia, how should the staff of this geriatric home treat elderly people with disabilities and frailty due to their age? That's why you study psychology for the elderly at university. I think you will never be able to have a certificate of ethics in the act of loving your profession and doing it with love and care for people, whether you are looking for information or not, like your elderly relative, father or grandparent admitted, is being treated better. Be very careful.
