Beautiful chapel; it is small but worth a visit. It has walls decorated with Portuguese-style tiles and a curious Baroque altar. Free admission.

The tour only includes the Chapel of the Holy Spirit; it's small but very charming. Its walls are decorated with tiles in the purest Portuguese style, and it has a beautiful Baroque altar. Entry is free, and the woman at the door offers an information leaflet explaining the significance of the tiles.

The chapel is the only place you can visit. It's very special and a must-see if you visit Olivenza. The institution deserves unconditional support for its altruism and mission: to care for the most disadvantaged elderly. We were fortunate to be shown around the chapel by a woman who is in love with the institution, the chapel, and her city, and it shows.

We can only visit the chapel, which is stunning. The Virgin Mary statue is rather dark-skinned, similar to Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the chapel walls are tiled in a portal style, showing the influence of the neighboring country. It has a beautifully carved altarpiece and is one of the must-see attractions if you visit Olivenza.
