Opiniones

I think it's great how they portray it (5-star hotel)! As if it were free, which looks very nice, but the rest leaves much to be desired. It's shameful how they treat them; I wouldn't say badly, but not entirely well either! I'll leave it at that! But if they continue like this, I'll report them because you shouldn't laugh at elderly people who are completely incompetent. And if they're not up to it, they should do something else, like the rest of us.

It's awful. My mother was there, and the moment you walk in, it smells like urine. The staff are terrible. Luckily, they moved my mother to another residence after I filed a complaint with the ERA (Regional Care Agency) and provided the necessary information. If you don't like it, please, seriously, get them out of there, just like I did.

I speak from firsthand experience, as I did my internship at this care home. I decided not to continue there for reasons I consider more than obvious. The work environment is more like a flea market than a care facility: the caregivers constantly raise their voices and lack composure, something that should be fundamental when dealing with elderly people. The care the residents receive leaves much to be desired. In many cases, they are given a superficial bath without the attention or time they require. I have witnessed and heard unacceptable phrases directed at the elderly, such as: "If you don't want to bathe, tough luck, you'll be covered in filth" or "This woman is such a pain," in addition to attitudes of complete indifference towards them. I won't name names, but I could easily point to more than one. The management is fully aware of what is happening and yet allows it. None of this is an isolated incident; it is a systematic, everyday occurrence. The positive reviews, I imagine, are due to some families being lucky enough to encounter a competent professional (though I honestly don't know who that might be) or, sadly, to their relative being in such a dire situation that they can't express their distress. I'm speechless. My advice is clear: look for another care home.

Our experience with all the staff was very good. My father-in-law was only able to stay for a short time since he passed away, and the one who was mentally fine told us that all the staff who cared for him were very nice. The social services staff were very pleasant and helped in every way they could. We would like to thank the entire team, who proved to be truly professional.

My mother is misunderstood; they don't change her diaper, which has caused diaper rash. The room is never clean, everything is disorganized, and they only care about her when we go to see her. After so many complaints, I don't understand why this residence hasn't been inspected.
