Opiniones

I absolutely do not recommend it! I took my parents there. They went in completely independent, but after a week I saw they had been put in diapers. I asked why, but I didn't understand, since they always went to the bathroom on their own. Also, every time I went to visit them, I found one of them with a dirty diaper, and I was the one who had to clean them. Then my mother had to get antibiotic injections because of the urinary tract infections she kept getting. Regarding mobility, it was the same. She was walking without assistance, while he used a cane, and within a month he was in a wheelchair and she was using a walker. My father's mental state gradually worsened. I spent a lot of time calling the psychologist, the supervisors, the nurses, and even the administration, and they gave me incoherent explanations. They started falling, whereas at home, living alone for years, they might have only fallen once or twice. Here, I received weekly calls, which caused immense anguish for families. We had to move them because we were moving to a different city, and I thought they would receive better care there. With immense sadness, I saw good reviews and trusted them, but the comments from other families at the center were all similar, and no one dared to write this. I regret to say that I do not recommend Vistasol 5 in Albufereta, Alicante.

My mother arrived at the Vista Sol 5 residential care home in Alicante in very poor condition, suffering from severe malnutrition. Professionally, I have no doubt about their care; they acted efficiently and quickly to treat an infection that is very dangerous at her age, and they saved her life. She recovered very well there. The supervisors were very caring and supportive. The management team was very helpful. All the staff were polite and professional. I sincerely recommend it.

My experience with them has been wonderful. My father has a rather complicated form of dementia, and from day one they made my life much easier and improved my father's life to a whole new level. All the staff are wonderful, incredibly attentive, and compassionate. They've been there for everything I've mentioned and they make our lives so much easier. From the management and administration to the supervisors, the social worker, the psychologist, the caregivers, the physiotherapists, and the receptionists—every single one of them is a true professional who makes my father's life easier, and therefore, mine too. I'm at peace knowing he's in the best hands, and my father is stable, well, and happy. I always receive updates on my father's condition. They organize tons of activities and care about each and every patient! I'm so proud that my father is in this place where he feels right at home, with wonderful facilities and staff who are like family. THANK YOU! Felicísimo's daughter sends you a warm hug!

Unfortunately, over the past six months, changes have been occurring that are affecting the quality of service at this center. My grandmother tells me there is neglect and a decline in the treatment of residents and the quality of care provided. They don't turn on the air conditioning in the blue room, the food is neither adequate nor appetizing, and there is a reduction in staff availability (staff shortage). It does have some good points, though; it's not all bad. But please, if you are the owner of this business, pay a little more attention to the needs of our elderly residents. Nursing homes shouldn't resemble hospitals but rather hotels, since the price to pay is the same.

Our experience has been excellent. The staff is very attentive, caring, and professional, always concerned about my grandfather's well-being. The facilities are clean, safe, and very welcoming. He has adapted very well and is happy with the environment and the people. We especially appreciate the recreational activities, which keep him active and motivated. It gives us great peace of mind to know that he is well cared for and supported. I would confidently recommend this residence to other families.
