Opiniones

My experience has been very negative. The care has been minimal; they said her hygiene was daily, but they only showered her once a week. She had a bandage on for 48 hours, and only because I realized it was the same one they had put on her in the hospital. The medical staff's treatment was appalling; they didn't provide any information. When you asked for advice, all they said was that she was going to die soon... Horrible. There were very few staff members in the common areas; whenever you went, there was at most one person supervising many elderly residents. They were always busy with other tasks, as they explained to us. In our case, the change of residence was like night and day.

My sister and I are deeply grateful to the staff at this care home for their services, kindness, warmth, and the wonderful care they provided. Our father was well looked after, loved, and attended to in every way. They even affectionately called him "Grandpa." They have always offered us support, especially during the most difficult times, and were there for us during the hardest moment of his recent passing. We reiterate our sincere gratitude and send them our warmest regards.

A little over two months ago, my mother had hip surgery. She spent a month and a half at Parque Dorado. Her recovery has been very good. The physiotherapist, Marcos, did a sensational job, getting my mother walking and wanting to walk, constantly motivating her. Regarding the rest of the staff, I have nothing but praise. The treatment is personal and family-like, from the assistant to the social worker, the caretakers, etc. The facilities are complete and clean, and the food is good. Thank you so much for your help! Cristina will never forget you; during that time, you were her family.

We had a terrible experience. A truly terrible one. There was an aide named Elisa who did nothing but yell. She would force the mouths of residents who didn't want to eat open with a spoon. She practically dragged them to bed to finish as quickly as possible, and let's not even talk about how she made them lie down. Thankfully, we noticed twice, but they had switched the pills on my mother and another resident. They left the medication on the table two hours before meals. They cut their nails in the dining room, with the plates and cutlery already on the table. You'd call attention to it, and they didn't care. They gave them expired shortbread cookies. And we got my mother out of there covered in bedsores. Didn't anyone see her when they dressed her, showered her, or changed her? No wonder my mother complained so much, and they told us it was just for attention. We told the director, but it was no use. The fish was half-cooked, the food was inedible. A real horror. Thank goodness we got her out a few years ago, because otherwise I don't know if my mother would be alive today, and if she were, I don't know what condition she'd be in. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
