Opiniones

My great-uncle has been in the residence for over a year and a half, and our family is very happy with the services provided and the facilities in general.

When, at the end of the pandemic lockdown, my mother decided to go to a nursing home, I screamed. How could my mother go to a nursing home...!!! With her stubbornness and generosity, she got her way. And by fortunate coincidence, she was admitted to Sanitas Valladolid on September 11, 2020. On March 20, she died at the age of 98, in what she has considered her home since that day. I don't know how to express my gratitude for the care, attention, and, above all, the affection that each and every one of the magnificent professionals they have shown my mother. In these four and a half years, my mother has been immensely happy. Her clear head until the very end has allowed her to do so. Even during the last few days when she received palliative care at the nursing home (so she didn't suspect her serious condition), she was delighted surrounded by the affection of both the professionals and her group of friends, who loved each other so much. Thank you, Sanitas Family. I can never thank you enough for everything we have received from you.

My sister Ana and I are very pleased with the care our mother, María Luisa Longo, received. The staff is very kind to family members and residents. Thank you.

I gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero. I hope this helps anyone evaluating this residence.

I'm giving it one star, although if it were possible, I wouldn't give it any at all because of my experience with my relative. He checked in on a Saturday, and the following Friday he was hospitalized with a pulmonary obstruction caused by food. He died that same night. During the week, my family had to brush his teeth because no one else had. His hair was dirty and unkempt. I know other people who have spent years there and were very happy with the residence. The difference lies in the elderly person's condition: if they can manage on their own, it can be a good place; if they require a lot of care and have cognitive impairment, there isn't enough time and affection to give them the care they need. So, they forced food on my relative and then just left him unattended. After all, they couldn't complain. After his death, I went to collect his belongings. The treatment I received was evasive, cold, bordering on rude, even though, in our grief after burying him, we didn't ask for anything. They knew this and passed the buck. "Excusatio non petita..."
