I would like to express my gratitude for the kind and friendly treatment, the warmth, and the joy that Nuria, the new cleaning lady at this residence, brings us. She always has a lovely smile and kind words for us, and even while cleaning, she's always checking to see if we need anything and if we're okay. A big kiss and hug for her, and my thanks to the board of directors for hiring such wonderful people.

I want to thank the entire team for the great work they do, and especially congratulate Javier. My mother's face lights up every time she sees him; he's so thoughtful and caring. Every afternoon I see how much all the residents love him when he offers a glass of water in the cafeteria. Never change; you're a sweetheart.

My experience with this DomusVi nursing home in Arroyo de la Encomienda has been disappointing. It has significant shortcomings in basic care: after meals, especially after snacks, long lines of residents form waiting for help to use the bathroom, resulting in very uncomfortable and undignified situations. Calls for assistance take a long time to be answered, both day and night. Furthermore, we have experienced worrying errors in administering medication and poor involvement from the medical staff. Improvements are urgently needed in the organization and the number of staff available. I deeply regret the choice I made at the time; the good thing is that we are no longer there.

The lack of staff is evident. Residents spend long periods waiting for help or remain seated without attention or stimulating activities. At times, the treatment is perceived as lacking empathy, even with shouting or disinterest on the part of some caregivers. Meals are scarce and poorly adapted to the medical needs of many seniors. Unfortunately, the general feeling is one of neglect and exhaustion among staff, which negatively impacts the well-being of residents. My mother-in-law had a terrible time, and we didn't rest until we were able to transfer her to another nursing home. Phew, what a difference! We've gone from hell to heaven.

After my mother's experience at this nursing home, I can sadly say that the center needs a thorough and urgent review of its care protocols. I have witnessed serious errors in medication administration: forgotten pills, unjustified changes, or incorrectly administered doses, with the resulting consequences for elderly people undergoing critical care. Added to this is the constant delay in responding to calls, both day and night, which generates anxiety, insecurity, and, in some cases, unnecessary risk situations. Medical care is practically nonexistent; doctors are rarely present, and follow-up care is minimal. Residents spend long hours in overcrowded lounges, without activities or support, limited to "waiting for the day to pass," which deteriorates their mood and their emotional and cognitive health. The lack of empathy on the part of the staff—partly due to workload overload and poor training—means that their treatment is sometimes distant or even inappropriate. It's painful to see how elderly people, who deserve respect and care, live in an environment where neglect and sadness seem to have become normalized. This facility needs more supervision, more qualified staff, and, above all, more humanity. They mix people in rooms and at the dining tables not as if they were cattle, but worse: like unidentified bundles, like packages thrown at random, without judgment or respect. All while the most basic logic suggests they should be grouped according to their cognitive affinity, their interests, or at least a minimum of human coherence.
