La Residencia de 3ª edad Esperanza recibe opiniones sumamente polarizadas: mientras que la mayoría de usuarios (4 de 5 reseñas) expresan estar muy satisfechos con la atención cálida, profesional y el ambiente acogedor del centro, una reseña muy crítica denuncia graves problemas de gestión, incluyendo negligencia en el cuidado de pertenencias, medicación excesiva, falta de respeto hacia los familiares y decisiones que habrían vulnerado la autonomía de la residente. My experience has been very negative. In three months, my mother lost three hearing aids. When we asked for an explanation, the director decided not to replace them, claiming they weren't necessary for someone with Alzheimer's, violating her right to autonomy, which is unacceptable. They also asked us to leave the center and took away our permission to feed her dinner, even though it was the center itself that forced us to do so because, according to them, she wouldn't eat (she did eat with us). Furthermore, we were able to verify that they were overmedicating her to keep her calm, because they didn't do that at the new center we moved to. The treatment from the management was disrespectful, and the center's doctor showed no professional independence, simply following the director's instructions. For all these reasons, I do not recommend this center.

How lucky we were! The day we decided to choose this residential home for the care of our seniors, our phobias and prejudices dissipated within days of our mother's admission. Despite being at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic was still frightening us with its grip, the professionalism of the team, each dedicated to the service they offered and extremely strict with the safety of the residents, instilled peace of mind in us, and time has confirmed the loving care each senior we entrusted to their care received. Today, in addition to leaving this heartfelt review, I want to express my gratitude for the care our mother received at all times and for how easy they made it for us, always making us feel at home.
