Opiniones

It's disappointing every day my mother spends in this care home. The staff become complacent and neglect basic necessities for proper care. If I could show you photos, you'd see the reality of the situation, especially for those who are immobile. They leave food scraps in their mouths for hours, and if they're positioned awkwardly on the sofa, they don't care. If the sofa is stained, they stay dirty all afternoon. The food has often been cold when I've visited. It's shameful. You have to be there for them to be treated even halfway decently, and even then, they still show no consideration. But it's okay because we have the photos, and we'll take action when the time comes.

I am so grateful for the treatment, care, and attention my mother received from all the team members who have always been attentive to her, my father, and me. The quality of care and humanity exceeds all expectations. Words of affection will always come to mind whenever I refer to this center. Thank you so much.

I don't have fond memories of how the residents were treated. In response to your reply... I am pleased that you are committed to providing excellent care to the residents, and I hope you will fulfill that commitment. I don't believe that any input I can offer based on my experience is necessary for your improvement. I firmly believe that you are the ones who know your shortcomings and strengths better than anyone. Nevertheless, I am very glad that you have committed to improvement, for the benefit of your residents, who are ultimately the ones who need the care and attention that you and your team should provide.

I don't usually leave negative reviews unless it's absolutely necessary to prevent problems. This residence has good facilities, and during the initial interview, everything is made easy and you leave feeling very satisfied: the social worker speaks with you, you have a medical check-up, and they show you the facilities. Once you're convinced it's the best option for your family member, you have to leave a one-month deposit. But once you're inside, everything changes: 1. There's no menu to choose from, and what you do have is poor quality and limited variety. 2. If you're independent, you can still be distracted. Otherwise, they just put you in a chair or lock you in your room with very little supervision. My mother has fallen several times and had to call us on her cell phone because they didn't answer the call bell. We've had to call reception. More than once, when I've gone there unexpectedly, I've found my mother naked and uncared for, without any assistance. In fact, when I arrived, they tried to prevent me from going up to the room so I wouldn't find her in that situation. 3. The support staff (not the supervisors) are trainees who do what they can; they lack experience, and they're constantly being replaced. 4. They're only concerned with marketing to sell the residence. They didn't even respect the medication. 5. They charge you to label clothes so they don't get lost (I don't see anything wrong with that), but they disappear, and even after complaining, I never found them or received a refund. 6. Anything you take to the storage room disappears. In short, my relative didn't even last three months... they lost 15 kilos. Finally, I had to demand the return of the deposit a thousand times. I managed to get it back, almost under threat, but it was two and a half months after I left the residence. I repeat, I don't write unless it's necessary. But a word of advice: don't trust appearances; they're not real. They'll probably reply with one excuse or another. But you can see all my reviews, which are only very negative if they're truly deserved. I usually write to praise. Do NOT take your family members because there's no compassion in the way the elderly are treated, just pure business.

The staff is always very attentive, and they have many different activities for the residents depending on their needs. Inside, the residence has a more hotel-like atmosphere, which I personally prefer because it doesn't feel like some other places; it's more cheerful. The rooms are fantastic and very comfortable in every way.
