I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team at the Colisée El Saler Residence for the exceptional care they provided to my family member during their stay. Medical and nursing care: The healthcare staff demonstrated great professionalism and compassion, caring for my family member's health and well-being with warmth and patience. Caregivers and support staff: Their daily dedication and affection, along with their constant willingness to help, made my family member feel supported and respected at all times. Meals and nutrition: The care taken in preparing the meals is evident. They are tailored to each resident's needs, with a variety and quality that reflects a genuine concern for nutrition. The Sunday paella was especially appreciated. Recreational and leisure activities: I am particularly grateful for the organization of activities designed according to each person's needs, encouraging participation and boosting both morale and independence. We appreciate the ease of use of the application for relatives of residents, being able to consult a lot of useful information, including images of the relative during the activities.

They accepted my father, who had a brain injury, at 72 years old, supposedly to give him the personalized care he needs, as someone with that condition requires. It was quite the opposite; they left his food in his room without giving it to him (I know this because he continued to eat the same menu in his room in the afternoon). Since he was still able to move around independently, he fell twice, and on one occasion, he wasn't injured. They called me at 6 a.m. to tell me, giving me a terrible fright as I thought he might have died or something. One morning I arrived home and found urine on the floor. I informed the cleaning lady, and when I returned two hours later, it was still there, and the smell was almost unbearable. Besides all that, within a month we had to take him to the hospital emergency room because of a urinary tract infection. When we arrived at the hospital, the doctors, due to my father's condition, said he would be admitted to palliative care. When we informed the nursing home, in addition to the €5,100 already charged for a month and ten days, they told us that because we hadn't given them 15 days' notice, they were keeping the €2,500 deposit. I had to call the director to tell him that this was illegal since it was a case of force majeure, and that he should look into it properly because otherwise I would file a complaint. He called me shortly after to say he was returning it. I highly doubt this was the first time he'd been in this situation, with a resident leaving the care home due to a serious illness (a sudden illness, like a urinary tract infection, plus a brain tumor). If he hadn't had a family member with a lawyer, they would have pocketed the entire deposit. I imagine there are many cases where they've taken money. If anyone has a similar experience, I encourage you to file a claim. In short, an extremely expensive care home and my father received terrible care.

Simply shameful and deplorable. Not only for the patients, but also for the staff. Every week there's a different nurse or caregiver because they can't stand the conditions or because they're let go. That's how it is: a nursing home with zero empathy and a mafia-like system. With exorbitant prices that make it difficult for hundreds of families to provide their elderly relatives with the quality of life they deserve. Costs that only a privileged few can afford—my family and I include ourselves in that category—but it's shameful that nowadays, older people don't have access to housing, care, and a dignified life. I hope this situation in private nursing homes changes, not just with you, but in general. I find the exorbitant prices they charge appalling. So, to the owners or managers, let's see if you or someone close to you can afford it someday. And you'll understand the situation, if you have the capacity for empathy, of course. Because the service at this residence often leaves much to be desired, prices aside, starting with the reception staff and ending with the management, who I think are completely unaware of the situation they're in. Regards

I accompanied my friend here to the Colisee center in El Saler, Valencia, because she had heard excellent things about it. It was undoubtedly the best choice. The empathy and professionalism of each and every staff member (starting with the director) are truly remarkable. Both the residents and the staff have become like family. The staff, the facilities, the food, the activities (both recreational and therapeutic), the physical and psychological health professionals, the administrative and social aspects, the reception staff, the aesthetics, the emotional support—everything was top-notch! Congratulations and our sincere gratitude.

A very bad experience. I think my grandmother wasn't properly cared for. She often came in with dirty clothes, but they would just put her jacket over them so nothing would show. We bought her a purse, and it disappeared. She needed bed rails, and when they moved her to a different room, they didn't put them in, which is why she fell. Before entering the care home, she could walk, but after being admitted, she stopped walking because she spent all day in a wheelchair. It was a disgrace.
