Opiniones

Like everything in life, there are pros and cons: one thing to keep in mind is that elderly men and women who enter a care home (this one or any other) and subsequently require rehabilitation afterward, whether after surgery or not, lose their right to rehabilitation at the HUC (University Hospital of the Canary Islands) because the hospital assumes they will receive that rehabilitation at the care home or residence (a conversation I had with the orthopedic surgeon who operated on my grandmother's hip). This forces the elderly to "rehabilitate" themselves with the help of their caregivers (which translates to lifting them and walking a little), so in the end, they don't recover properly, they end up needing diapers, and the sedentary lifestyle accelerates aging and their death. Like everything in life, there are pros and cons: they need affection and companionship, and when you bring a bouquet of flowers as a promise to someone who isn't a relative, they don't even allow you to give it to them in person. Like everything in life, there are wonderful people and others not so much… Think carefully before leaving your elderly relative in someone's care because there are always pros and cons…

My mother and I have been at the center since 2019. All the staff are very professional and even better people. I want to take this opportunity to wish them all the best for their dedication and care to all the residents.

OUR SINCEREST THANKS to all the staff at the "Quesada Sánchez Family Shelter" in Tacoronte for the care and affection received during the short time we were fortunate enough to share with Rosario Cáceres Pérez during her stay. Luis-Ravelo Clavijo Family

The Tacoronte center is, for me, one of the best; perfect service. I had my grandmother at the center, and the truth is that they took very good care of her, clean, supervised, etc. The center's staff was very good, super friendly, always had a pleasant face, including the cleaning staff. I recommend it, because it didn't feel like you were in a center, but rather at home.

The Tacoronte Center is the best. They are very professional, they take care of their patients, pamper them, and keep them active. They are also very supportive of families and always look for ways to help! In short, THE BEST...
