Disgusting, I would shut it down. I don't agree with how they treated my father. They supposedly didn't feed him for two days. I didn't see the feeding machine like the ones they had in the hospital, and he told me he was hungry. The Virgen del Rocío hospital prescribed the treatment, and if they had followed it, supposedly what happened wouldn't have happened. He was able to stand and was receiving rehabilitation. He even spoke perfectly. He was mobile, and at the Virgen del Rocío hospital, they would take him around in his wheelchair. I saw him doing very well. At first, he caught a pneumonia virus in the ICU and fought hard to get out. On the ward, they finished curing him of pneumonia, and his tracheostomy was completely healed. The only thing left was that he couldn't eat by mouth. And since his insurance money had run out, they started rushing to discharge him, claiming there were no beds available. Since his house wasn't in very good condition—it had been closed for two months—they took him away until his house was fixed and he could be properly cared for. They should have taught him properly how to operate his equipment and how to treat a scale he had on his thigh, and other things, because he didn't want to be in the clinic. Anyway, to get to the point, on the thirteenth he arrived in the afternoon and they didn't give him his medication. I found out because the nursing home called me, not the doctor. I went there and saw my father very active; he was aggressive, which is normal in his situation. On the second day, the nurse went to see a doctor on call, and she ordered him to take haloperidol because I supposedly think she didn't review his medical history and didn't see that my father had senile dementia diagnosed by his psychiatrist. The nurse came back and told me I had to sign a paper that he didn't let me read properly, and I asked for a copy, but he wouldn't give it to me. When I saw the syringe and the dosage, I asked him, and he replied that it was normal. I told my sister that we should get him out of there because I didn't like what I was seeing, and she said yes, but I didn't have time because the next day my father died, supposedly from a heart attack. I consulted with a doctor, and he... They say that because they gave him this medication, which is contraindicated for patients with senile dementia, the patient doesn't die of natural causes but of premature death. Besides, the pictures of the clinic online make it look like a five-star clinic, but some of the furniture was broken, the caregivers didn't treat the elderly very well, and the bedding was ancient and from a charity. The residence wasn't paid for; if they weren't equipped to treat him, they should have told me, and I would have taken him somewhere else. But money is very tempting, and seeing these irregularities, I would say that no one should take their relatives there. This is my opinion.

They have taken care of everything to help us get my father admitted, even to the bank that had preemptively closed our accounts.

If you love your family member, don't take them to this residence.
