Opiniones

My father passed away in this facility after being there for just under 11 months. I've been thinking for a while before writing this review. It's a center with very limited resources for caring for elderly people, especially those with certain types of dementia. There are some staff members with very little empathy for sick people. If they're not qualified, they should find another line of work. I won't name names out of politeness, but if they read this and feel targeted, please call me; they have my phone number. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you have to place a family member in a care facility, choose carefully. In my opinion, this one is not qualified.

I have no words to express my gratitude to the entire staff for the love and care they have given my mother and her family. My mother passed away there (as was her wish), and the care, dedication, and respect during such a difficult time have been spectacular. We will always be grateful.

My father stayed for two years and I can only express my gratitude for the kind and caring treatment he received. Thank you.

My name is José María, and all I can say is: My mother, Esperanza, and we were treated wonderfully at all times. Obviously, there are things that could be improved, but that happens in much more expensive places than Joaquín Rosillo, I know unfortunately from experience with another family member. But this doesn't detract from the work and dedication of the entire team. From Constanza and Fátima, the social workers, to the nursing staff led by Sandra and Nora, David the physiotherapist, assistants like Rocío, and caretakers like Javi and Fernando, housekeepers like Estrella, the kitchen staff, and a cleaning team like few other residences, all the way to the management, very well represented by Lidia. My mother was only there for a short time because she was already very ill, although we didn't know this until after she passed away. It's a long story that I won't go into; I simply want to thank the professionals at this residence for doing a difficult job, one that is sometimes poorly understood, and for doing it with dignity. Thank you very much. Special mention goes to Francisco Crespo, the angel who selflessly watches over the well-being of the residents and their families. His help in centers like this is exceptional and invaluable to me. Thank you, Paco.

I'm writing this review because I just realized my review was censored, and I didn't add anything beyond implying that numbers are what matters most, in my opinion, based on what I observed during my mother's stay. If you have family members with Alzheimer's or any type of dementia, I don't recommend taking them to this place. My mother, who suffered from very advanced Alzheimer's, died in this nursing home during lockdown in March 2020. At the beginning of the lockdown, they ran out of staff and even refused help from Doctors Without Borders, so the actions speak for themselves... It was one of the nursing homes with the highest mortality rate in all of Spain during the lockdown. I asked the nursing home for information on the treatment prescribed until her death, since she was believed to have COVID (something that was never diagnosed in writing, curiously), and they didn't provide me with anything. She had scabies before, and they also hid everything. I hope, for the sake of the residents, that something has changed for the better in this residence, although from some reviews I've read, it seems that everything remains the same, very sad.
