Opiniones

At night, no one patrols. They give them dinner very early and leave them to their own devices. At the very least, they should check on the entire floor every hour, and if they see an elderly person shouting, why did they fall silent? They shouldn't wait on the floor until the next day, that's the bare minimum. When it's time for them to go to their rooms, they should check on them, and again at midnight, more discreetly. Those who work without enthusiasm will criticize me. This review is subject to change.

To be honest, this review refers to the care we received a year ago. We had a relative there at the time who passed away. The place is very poorly maintained, especially in terms of cleanliness. They gave the common areas a facelift but left the rooms worn, old, and unclean. The care given to residents who were less involved was essentially just "parking" them. We considered moving to another residence, but given the person's circumstances, it would have been too difficult for them. When they died, it was as if they hadn't existed, since we didn't receive any condolences from the center itself, although a few employees did offer some brief and specific messages. Despite the passage of time, these things still hurt, and that's why I'm sharing this.

Overall, very bad. The residents were mistreated. My mother, who had dementia and other mental illnesses, was there for six months, and they let her leave the residence whenever they wanted. I would go to see her, and she wouldn't be there. Their response was that she had run away. They didn't even go looking for her, call the police, or anything, even though my mother didn't have permission to leave the residence. There was zero consideration for the patient or the family. The director shouldn't be working there. Someone who treats people like that shouldn't have that position. I don't recommend it at all.

A very good nursing home that offers specialized care. They have all the services, and above all, the most valuable thing is the constant communication with the family. They anticipate problems and offer solutions. It's true that we can say the facilities have been around for a long time, but when it comes to caring for an elderly person, that's not the most important thing. Or at least that's my opinion. There are many very new ones that leave much to be desired in terms of care. I understand that some people disagree, because tastes are different, but my time here has been impeccable. Congratulations.

This care home leaves much to be desired. My mother lived there for two years. When we went to visit her, they would show her with uncut fingernails, even after we had asked them to cut them. She was wearing other residents' clothes, which were poorly cleaned, and her teeth were in terrible condition. It was appalling. Before she passed away, they suggested sedating her at the care home, something I absolutely do not recommend. It's much better to have her in the hospital, where she received excellent care and cleanliness until her death from recurring urinary tract infections and respiratory problems. They even tried to get her belongings, giving us clothes that had belonged to another deceased person. We spoke with the director about filing a complaint, but she told us it was a waste of time and that the regional government didn't care about complaints. It's a tragedy that my mother passed away malnourished and neglected. I believe the staff and director at this center should be more empathetic towards the users and their families. This happened three years ago, and although I didn't file a complaint, I hope my experience will help others to bring about change.
