Opiniones

I've seen several very negative reviews about the personal treatment of the staff at this residence. I honestly don't understand how there can be two such disparate versions of the same people. My father has been at this residence for three years now. The treatment we received has always been excellent. Everyone has always been more than willing to provide any information and/or help. Whenever we visit, we see nothing but smiles and a positive atmosphere, not only for the family members but also for the residents. After three years of continuous treatment, we go there at least three times a week. I don't understand the negative reviews.

TERRIBLE. If you can choose another one, don't hesitate... inhumane treatment. My grandmother's clothes, shoes, etc., are always being lost... and that's the least of what happened to her there. Not to mention that since COVID, they never let them out into the yard for some sun, and it's been five years since then. The visiting hours couldn't be shorter, and now they won't even let you go up to their rooms, which I find quite suspicious. Like I said, it's one of the worst. If you want the well-being of your family members, try to find them another one. We all know what these nursing homes are like, and most of them leave much to be desired.

Before writing this review, I took a look at the previous ones to see if anyone had experienced something similar, and one of them caught my attention. "The staff is very human," it said. Well, they must have an alien answering the phone then, because there was hardly anything human about him. I called right now, and without letting me finish my greeting of "hello, good afternoon," she answered, telling me who I was and why I was calling. I told her my name was Sara and that I had a question I wanted to ask... (She interrupts again and between laughs and with admirable rudeness she answers: yes, haha, Sara, but that's no good enough for me. (Haha again) Well, Sara, a person who has a question about a relative who has suffered a stroke... Disdainfully and rudely, she interrupts again saying: Hey, look girl, I can't answer those things. Between tears, given that my situation is critical, I tell her how can she tell me she can't answer me if I haven't asked her the question yet, and she says that she doesn't know. I insist again that it's obvious that she doesn't know if I haven't formulated the question yet, to which she answers: Well, come on, tell me since I don't have all day. I hung up the phone. The LACK OF EMPATHY of this "non-human personnel" regarding such a serious illness and the possible suffering of the people who may call this center makes me think that anyone nowadays gets hired. It's a shame that I don't know the name of the person who The person who answered the phone, I can only say she had a foreign accent. I'm leaving this as a piece of information so that anyone reading this who wants to seek help for their loved ones and is going through a difficult time, can help them avoid going through another experience like the phone service from this UNPRESENTABLE young lady. I hope the senior managers who manage this company read this and review their staff to see if they're truly qualified. And think, since we all have families, if you'd like yours to be treated this way.

Terrible treatment. My grandfather was admitted to this nursing home a few months ago, and, may he rest in peace, I wouldn't wish the treatment he received there on anyone. His wheelchair was always dirty and covered in food residue, his clothes were also dirty, his teeth and mouth weren't cleaned, and this caused sores on the roof of his mouth. His beard wasn't trimmed, despite our numerous complaints about its poor hygiene. When we picked him up, he had numerous sores all over his body, weeks-old food residue in his mustache (like compacted food balls that we had to remove with Vaseline in the hospital), and he had lost a significant amount of weight: if he didn't eat, the food went straight to the trash. My grandfather suffered from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, and they treated him worse than the sole of a shoe. I wouldn't recommend this nursing home even to my worst enemies. Shameful, terrible, intolerable, a bunch of irresponsible people.

After more than two years with my mother in this San Rosendo Foundation residence, my opinion is frankly very negative. Despite the apparent good intentions of some of the staff, my personal perception is that there is a huge lack of resources, both human and material, and that the FSR's primary objective, rather than the satisfaction of its residents and their families, is to maximize profit. In short, it's a shame, but I cannot recommend it to anyone.
