It's awful, not because of the work of the caregivers who do what they can, but because they don't have enough resources to care for the patients. They don't have a nurse, the cook only works three hours a day, and they don't provide the proper diet for the elderly—just instant soups, everything with lots of salt, and quince paste and cold cuts for dinner. They don't monitor the vital signs daily for people with diabetes, infections, and other conditions. In short, those who are already ill get worse and die.

No comment is needed regarding this care home. If you entrust a loved one to a care home, your first thought is that they will receive the best possible care. In this case, that wasn't the case. They allowed an infection to go unchecked until the person arrived at the hospital with a systemic infection, which led to their death. The family repeatedly asked them to please monitor their blood sugar levels, as they were diabetic. They arrived at the hospital with a level over 600. It's intolerable how they can allow a care home to operate without adequate resources, without a nurse, with a doctor who only comes for two hours a week, and without any monitoring of each resident's diet. The management is a disgrace. And I'm not talking about the staff, who will do what they can, but about the resources provided by the management, which are nonexistent. In short, a disgraceful facility.

There are things that are UNACCEPTABLE, and the fact that this care home remains open is one of them… You leave your loved ones there with a heavy heart, thinking they'll be cared for, and sadly, you find unacceptable situations. There's no nurse, so they don't monitor anything… diabetic residents with completely uncontrolled blood sugar levels, wounds (which they don't even tell you about) that don't heal, they can't do urine tests to monitor the CONTINUOUS INFECTIONS… the doctor visits for 1 or 2 hours a week, the cook for 3 hours a day, and of course, it's just reheating food—shameful dinners for elderly people: cold cuts, quince paste, cheese… and plenty of flan, though. And what about the facilities? Broken windows that they don't fix because there's obviously no maintenance staff… broken radiators… indecent furniture—seeing is believing. The caregivers will do the best they can, but I truly can't understand how this can pass any kind of inspection. Seeing is believing. You're welcome.
