La Residencia Virxe do Xures recibe críticas muy negativas de los usuarios, quienes denuncian falta de profesionalismo, mistratos a los residentes, gestión irresponsable y poco receptiva a las quejas, así como deficiencias en la atención personal y las instalaciones. Sin embargo, se reconoce que algunos cuidadores sí realizan su trabajo con dedicación y cariño hacia los mayores, aunque esto no compensa las graves carencias generales de la residencia.

You think you're taking them to a place where they're going to be cared for as they deserve, and it's quite the opposite, not very personal and some not very qualified. If you can't peel an apple then go and find a life. 1 visiting room inside the residence and another "room" where the vending machines are, which in winter is quite cold to be there. They put the wrong clothes on them, from another user, and that they're marked, and endless things. No matter how much you complain to the director, it goes in one ear and out the other, you have to pay the bill. It's a shame that there's no other way than to leave them in that place, if not, not even joking, it's a shame. However, I want to say that there are some caregivers who do do their job well and with love for the elderly.
