Enough said, the conditions are appalling. It's true they're cold, there's no heating. The food is poor quality. None of the services mentioned in the advertising brochures are genuine. It's a business—and I mean that quite literally, for the boss's benefit—with a strong profit motive. Exorbitant monthly fees, excessive referrals to medical services, unjustified receipts, inexplicable pharmacy expenses, they raise the disability rating without any specialist to justify the decision, and consequently, the monthly fee increases as well. The deposit is paid in cash to avoid leaving a trace and having to declare it. And they don't return it under any circumstances. Understaffing leads to poor service. Etc., etc.

There are some very bad people who speak ill of me for nothing. I had my parents in this nursing home until they unfortunately passed away, and all I can do is thank them for the excellent service. The staff were amazing, with all the attention, including the times I met the owner, the attentiveness, and asking if everything was okay. This is what a nursing home should be like! Every time they ask me, it was the best, and without the sky-high prices, as there are many out there who take advantage of people's needs. You're great!!!

My grandmother spent six months at the Monte Barrio Residence in Rios. There was no care whatsoever; there were no caregivers with the elderly residents at any time. They were left sitting in chairs watching television. My grandmother passed away in October 2024, and in November 2024, they sent us a bill to pay for the month. Besides being insensitive, how can you send a bill to charge for a month to someone who has died? In addition to this, every quarter they sent us bills for expenses of 280 euros, 300 euros... without any justification. And now that, according to the contract, they have to return our deposit, which they demand in cash, they refuse to do so. We have called repeatedly until we are exhausted. Of course, this has been reported, and we will try to recover our money as soon as possible and ensure that these types of residences disappear. What a disgrace!

Attention, mobsters! We haven't received a single invoice for the charges made to the account, even though they promised to do so twenty times. We've waited almost six months, plus several calls and emails, for the deposit to be returned. I can't recommend this residence at all. Do yourself a favor and find another residence.

My uncle lived in this care home for three years until he passed away last week. I have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff is professional, the caregivers treat everyone with such care and affection, like family. Even the owners, whenever my wife and I have visited, have shown us such kindness and attention. I always recommend this care home whenever I'm asked.
