Our deepest gratitude to the team who, day after day, make the Carmen Mena Residence a wonderful home. For their outstanding work and the loving care they showed our mother/mother-in-law. She felt right at home. We called every day and received detailed updates on her condition, and whenever there was a change of interest or an issue, the director would call us. We spent time with her every week and always saw that she was very well cared for. It's a small residence, a large house, modest in keeping with its price, with very personalized and compassionate care. The director is efficient and charming, the caregivers are hardworking and caring, and there's a cook, a nurse, and affordable external services like podiatry and hairdressing. In the afternoons, they often played bingo, wrote biographies, and have a games room and library, as well as two large patios where residents can take walks and enjoy the sunshine. From time to time they go out to fun events, and on special occasions like carnivals, fairs, Christmas, etc., they organize activities. Above all, we had peace of mind knowing that the 24-hour care she received was exactly what she was looking for, and she found it here. Thank you for everything.
