Orpea Benalmádena es altamente valorada por sus residentes y sus familias, destacando el cuidado integral, la limpieza, el personal amable y las excelentes instalaciones con vistas al mar y ubicación conveniente que mejoran significativamente la calidad de vida de los mayores. Sin embargo, algunos usuarios mencionan aspectos mejorables como la calidad de la comida, el espacio de aparcamiento limitado y cambios recientes en la gestión del centro.

Our friend Richard always said he wanted to go to this nursing home after visiting a friend. When he was unable to look after himself after a bad fall 3 years ago he was able to get a place. We live in Ireland and were only able to visit 2 per annum . We arrived unannounced he was always clean , well dressed, content and keen to show us his apartment and the menus. I always left feeling that he was in the best place. At the end when he was very unwell I knew he was cared for and respected. If I lived in Spain I would have my name on the list .

We found this residential home for my elderly parents 2 years ago. Already in their nineties and arriving from England, it meant any change would have to be for the best. Having had a bad experience in a nursing home in Northampton, this carehome, especially for my mother with dementia and wheelchair bound most of the the time, has meant she has been given a quality of life she would otherwise not have had anywhere else. She has assistance round the clock, is showered and dressed every day, they are both cared for with a nurse and doctor onsite, physiotherapy every day and activities planned throughout the month on different days. The facilities themselves are excellent, with very friendly staff and management. They have the independence of their own 1 bedroom apartment with bathroom and a kitchenette to be able to make tea and light snacks if needed, although 3 nutritious homecooked meals are provided every day, be it in their dining hall or in the apartment. They have laundry service everyday, with same day delivery back. A small balcony with seating and plants and a sea view, means they can sit outside too and enjoy sunshine all year round. There is also a pleasant communal front patio which allows more space to meet with visitors as well as other areas indoors. It is ideally situated on a side road off the main high road, minutes walking from little independent shops, nails salon, hairdressers, cafes, restaurants and banks of Arroyo de la Miel. The carehome's kind and efficient way of working and their warm and friendly southern Spanish welcome, gives piece of mind for family members and I believe it was the best decision we could have made!
